Just look at the eyes of the Master, surveying everywhere making sure everything is just so. Brilliant.

According to Mansei-en staff, when the Ezo Spruce were first brought to Mansei-en over 170 years ago, they quickly discovered that when the summer temperature hits over 32C for more than 2 days, the tips begin to brown. This was a mystery for a few years until it was remembered that Ezo Spruce grows mostly on mountainsides where direct sunlight only lasts a few hours at a time. The Ezo Spruce group plantings were moved to a more shaded area of the garden and apparently, the browning tips problem stopped.

i have been thinking and have thought, what will we leave the world when we die? kings and queens will be remembered, but the only people that leave the world and humans anything truly important after we die, are people that plant trees. (plants of any kind) anyway... i hope everyone has wonderful days and happy lives.
