I agree and think that’s the most likely thing but tbh then addressing Olivia and addressing the haters should’ve been two separate songs because when u put the two themes together it blurs the lines between whats aimed at who and just makes Sabrina seem like she’s being petty towards Olivia. I just think they dropped the ball by not taking the time they needed to think about how it might sound to everyone else. Cuz the lines are so blurred in this song that it straight up sounds like “I hope one day we can be friends.... I got ur man whatcha gonna do bout it 😝”

Ok, this is gonna be hella long, but please give it a read... I hate how three of my favorite people are suffering because of how toxic social media and how cruel the society is. I’m gonna talk about each of them separately. Sab is like an angel... Her voice, her appearance... This song made me so sad for her and especially because I knew right away that she was gonna be misunderstood. Just like Liv, she was pouring her heart out, sharing her feelings (I mean, that’s what songwriters are supposed to do, right?). I don’t think this song is aggressive or offensive. She was being just a little impulsive with 2 lines, I think. Overall she was being hopeful about this being put aside in the future. I feel like she was going back and forth aiming the lyrics at Liv and then at the haters. The haters were the ones trying to get under her skin, not Liv. And Liv is the one she hopes to laugh with (a beautiful line that many of you didn’t even pay attention to). I was in a similar situation and I was in Liv’s shoes. And now I realize how much it hurt the girl who was with the person I loved seeing that I’m not over the guy. He just couldn’t force himself to love me and was finally happy with her. It’s painful for Sab to finally feel happy and see that people are not rooting for her. People were literally sending her death threats. And even though Dl wasn’t about her, she was being attacked by haters because of it. She had the right to stand up for herself. Also people trying to make the “he’s on my skin’’ part s**ual and saying she’s rubbing it on Liv’s face. She’s just saying that haters can try to bring her down but as long as she has him and feels his touch she’s winning and she’s unbothered and safe. Olivia is literally so perfect... I’m her age and I am so amazed at how talented and mature this girl is. Of course, she has a very unique voice. But what I love the most about DL is that she put her heart and soul in it. You can feel she is telling us what she went through... Oh, and those high notes sound as if she’s gonna start to cry...🥺 I realllly feel her, cause as I said I was in her shoes. It’s amazing that she went and made something so powerful out of it. Yeah, she didn’t say anything bad about Sab, but she still said everything in a really direct way and put it out knowing what was gonna happen. Now I don’t blame her, I just wanna say that all three of them have the right to do so. Josh... People are seriously so ruthless to him. I was a crazy Jolivia shipper and I was so sad when all this happened. But I never thought of it as anyone’s fault. This is such a complicated situation. You can not say that it was JUST Liv suffering. Have you even been a fan of them, have you seen their interviews and the way Josh looked at her? The fact that they couldn’t be together because of the age difference must’ve hurt him a lot too. We don’t know the whole thing... I know, it sucks that he made a promise and didn’t keep it BUT people do fall out of love. I much rather them being happy separately than Josh forcing himself to love Liv and lying to her... That would hurt her more. Sab and him are the coolest and the few times we saw them interact they seemed truly happy and I am so glad that they are. Seriously? Saying that Sab’s or Josh’s voices suck or that Josh is not worth it? Smh... Their voices, looks and and lyrics are immaculate! As for Liv, she will find love and get over this situation. At least we had these bops out of this mess. If you love them (Josh and Liv) and want them to interact, stop exaggerating and creating unnecessary drama. They’re professionals who probably sorted things out behind the cameras and now you’re making it awkward for them to even be in the same room, lmao. This is not your relationship. #stophatingonamazingpeoplebecauseoffailedrelaitionships Oh, and people mentioning Sab’s and Liv’s ages, calling Sab immature... The age difference is not that big, they are both young and under the spotlight... That is already really hard... I think the song would have been amazing without the "try to get under my skin while he's on mine" lyric. Because no matter her intention that is essentially a grown adult taunting a heartbroken teenager. Outside of the fan responses you have to realize the impact on the individual it talks about. At least with Olivia she never attacked Sabrina and in interviews said it what matters isn't who the song was about but the feelings the song represented.

Idk if you know about these songs but you can't say there wasn't some amount of pettiness on both sides. Olivia was called a passive aggressive queen for these lyrics and Sabrina is getting hate which doesn't make sense to me. She's only 4 years older and she did take all of this for a while. I love both of them so seeing the hate makes me really sad. I've followed Liv for a very long time and she's a smart person . I have nothing against her for writing these lyrics but she was writing songs like these for months and going on Insta live and singing them while Sabrina was with Joshua. Sabrina was probably a little annoyed because the lyrics are patronizing but she probably decided to let it go because Liv seemed hurt. But then Driver's License blew up and imagine being Sabrina. This girl has been writing songs for months and a lot of them have to do with you but you haven't said anything because she seems to be hurt. And now a song that mentions you becomes a huge hit and people are sending you death threats. And then there is no statement released that explicitly says "stop hating" so you release a song that shows that you're annoyed but that you don't really hate this girl. In my opinion, Sab is entitled to be mad. Olivia was very hurt and so she went on live and sang these songs but a lot of them included hurtful lyrics for Sabrina. Sabrina only clapped back when people started sending death threats and no one cleared anything up. Sabrina was the mature one for a long time but getting death threats made her snap ig. I still love Olivia and am in no way saying she should get hate. I just want people to know Sab didn't snap after only getting compliments.

It's technically partially about olivia but sabrina sounds like she is trying TO SPEAK to Olivia through the song itself cuz she says things about reconciliation. She sings like it's a conversation she is having with olivia,granted its one sided since olivia isnt in the song responding. But still yes sabrina was dragged into the issue by haters and the media, olivia didnt sing about sabrina and meant no hate towards sabrina yet Olivia still mentions a blonde girl. it annoys me how people say that Sabrina is 21 and making a song about a 17 year old and saying “while he’s on mine” assuming that’s about sex, while oliva 17 made a song about Joshua 20... how come that’s not bad or weird??? im confused cus some people saying “it wasn’t even about Sabrina” when OLIVA brought Sabrina in this mess, whether she was complianting her or not, as soon as oliva said those words about sabrina, Sabrina started getting MAJOR hate for simply dating olivas ex. it’s stupid.

@@an-ub8kv the song was made when josh was 20 and oliva was 17... the dating stuff is another topic but the fact that people are coming at sabrina for making a song “about oliva” when it’s clearly towards the people attacking her for simply being with josh, because she’s 21 and oliva is 17- so it’s hypocritical to say it’s not weird that oliva 17 made a song about josh 20.

What matters to me isn't the sexual innuendo but about the fact a grown adult is essentially taunting a heartbroken teenager by using that line. Whether or not Olivia and Joshs relationship was appropriate is a separate matter. This would have been a great song without that lyric so I feel like that was unnecessary.

so i never saw girl meets world but appareantly the part where sab sings maybe we coul've been friends in another life, maybe blonde was the only ryhme is from that show.

Not ppl saying “but Olivia complimented her, this is rude”... you guys do realize how much hate she received after Olivia released her song right? Death threats and all? After spending years building her career she’s been reduced to the “blonde girl.” And not that it’s Olivia’s job, but she hasn’t rlly encouraged ppl to stop sending hate to Sabrina. So, yeah, Sabrina has every right to respond. And tbh, she was pretty damn mature about it.

this is what i tink. Olivia's song is definitely bout Joshua n Sabrina but Joshua wrote lie lie lie 2 years ago n it's a coincidence or a pr stunt n Sabrina's song is about Olivia but she isn't dissing Olivia..she's acknowledges how Olivia is feeling n tells her it will get better n then she tells all the ppl who have been hatin on her that they can't get under her skin cuz she's used to hate n is happy in her relationship.

You guys should react to Josh's new song only a matter of time. It isn't about the Olivia or Sabrina. He wrote it in Summer 2020 because 3 girls accused him of sexual assault. They already admitted that it was false and he is completely innocent but social media kept holding it over his head. So, he wrote this song about how toxic social media was. It's a really beautiful song. You guys should react to it!!

So I say that Sabrina surely wrote this about Olivia and that's it however that's a good song and no one deserves hate. What's more Olivia is still young and she can sing songs about her love life and that's fine.
