Sabri Brothers : Ya Sahib Al Jamal Wa Ya Syed Ul Bashar - (Live On PTV - 1996)
The Legend Ustad Haji Maqbool Ahmed Sabri (King Of Qawwali - Sabri Brothers) at his very best performing one of his greatest compositions on PTV. Ustad Haji Maqbool Ahmed Sabri was assisted by his younger brother Ustad Haji Mehmood Ghaznavi Sabri in this performance as the co - lead singer, It was recorded 2 years after the passing away of their beloved elder brother / The Legend Ustad Haji Ghulam Farid Sabri who passed away in year 1994. A young Amjad Sabri (son of Ustad Haji Ghulam Farid Sabri) can also be seen playing bongo drums and reciting chorus in this performance.
This kalam is based on a faarsi rubaai writtten by Hazrat Sheikh Saadi Shirazi, The Urdu lyrics of this naat are written by Hazrat Ambar Ali Shah Warsi.
Although, this kalam has previously been uploaded by other Sabri Brothers' Fans on KZread, I had this recording in better quality since a very long time in my collection.
