Recorded live at Abpara Community Centre in Rawalpindi / Islamabad, Pakistan during year 1976, this was the first major live concert of Sabri Brothers after their return from their Historic American Tour of Qawwali which took place in year 1975 (The Sabri Brothers were the first ever qawwal to perform in America and other Western Countries).
When this program took place, Sabri Brothers were on the peak of their fame, no qawwal could ever dream of the success The Sabri Brothers were receiving in mid 70's, This program was also aired on PTV in Video format during year 1976, but commonly this program is only available in audio.
Although this recording has been uploaded by many fellow you tubers, it has never been uploaded complete, the recording get cut when The Sabri Brothers recite their famous takrar of Waada Tera Waada, but i have uploaded the complete recording who's duration in 27 minutes and the takarar of Waada Tera Waada is complete in my recording.
The Sabri Brothers initially didn't planned to perform this ghazal in this concert, but after seeing the craze of their audience in this live concert (every fan present in this concert was showing appreciation on each word recited by Sabri Brothers) they decided to perform this ghazal especially for their fans, after which millions of cassettes of this concert's live recording were sold overnight and Sabri Brothers reached new heights of success through this concert. After the overnight success of this program the trend of live recording was started.
Till date the recording of this concert is considered as the greatest live performance by The Ultimate King Of Qawwali - The Sabri Brothers.
