Justin’s idea is brilliant. Having two houses connected would be so much easier for Sabre, she would still get privacy as there would be a lot of room. Also, having Flizzy there too would be perfect. If the Norris Nuts needed to be looked after for awhile (if Brooke and Justin wanted to spend time alone) they wouldn’t need to travel all the way back to Flizzy. ❤

No, the new idea only benefits Sabre. The others have to wait even longer now again for their own room because by the time a second house is fully finished, another year would have gone by. It solves absolutely nothing because in that year Sabre will still need to sleep in the attic or share to wait for the house to finish. That’s the same thing as waiting for the apartment to finish right now. Now that the wait is probably longer, Sabre has nothing to worry about because she will be able to continue to living her perfect little life at Flizzy’s house with her own bedroom and bathroom and have 0 worries about having to 1 room and have 0 privacy. The other who have been waiting forever and who have nowhere to go like Sabre for some privacy have to keep sharing longer now and have 0 privacy because of Her, because she changed her mind AGAIN. Everything really is always about Sabre. They only care about Sabre’s happiness. The others can rot waiting even longer now because they are not taken into consideration AGAIN

I feel for Sabre. She needs her independence because even if she has her own house, I can see Brooke watching her every move because she’s afraid to let her eldest go.. the other kids will want to hang out whenever/wherever which is why she wanted to move further away in the first place. She’s been made to feel like she can’t enjoy freedom and is being pulled back to make others feel comfortable. By having Sabre so close, she can still be the babysitter when needed. Let the woman spread her wings..

Fully agree. Notice that they never even offered saber the option of finding a new apartment. Both options they gave her involved them being either next door or living together. Very sad. I feel like she doesn't even have a best friend

i completely disagree with the first part of this particularly because most people move out in their 20s, she definitely needs her independence but she could also have that in a different house & Brooke has already sort of let her go a little bit, just because she expects Sabre to want to be close to the family doesn't mean she doesn't think Sabre can live independently.

I think all the nn, especially sabre, need to start thinking through their ideas more. this is like the 3rd house where they've decided that they can find a better house or that the house they bought is 'too much work'. Sabre was so set on her apartment and she 'loved it', and now all of a sudden she realises she has downstairs neighbours? Like maybe think that through before buying it.

ikr, like they've been saying they're going to move for YEARS. No moving or any progress has been made besides buying, getting half way through Reno's and selling, just to go buy again. They've probably lost so much money by doing it to. It was nice seeing someone in that family actually stop for a moment and think instead of jumping on an idea immediately. Moving and buying property is a big process and choice and its clear that the reason why this whole moving thing for them isn't working out is because they're not being patient and the second they see a house that's somewhat suitable they just jump on it. Not the way to go about It at all.

Surely as parents it's your job to provide your kids with stability. This means thinking through big life decisions thoroughly before committing to a plan and then following through with it. These parents seem to be very impulsive, quickly coming up with a plan, telling all the kids and getting them excited, investing a lot into it, then suddenly changing it. I think that must be difficult to live with and quite destabilising.

While it looks like you've found a possible solution, assuming you can get both houses, I'm in agreement with a lot of the comments here; pick something and stick with it. You've been on the verge of moving for years, which is stressful (Sabre even mentioned that she held off on dating because of the upcoming move). And when you make a decision, the kids start to come up with and get attached to plans (joining a specific club, making friends, etc), only to have that thrown into uncertainty. It feels like a lot of unnecessary drama. Maybe talk to your kids (especially the adult and nearer adult ones) before you massively overhaul their life plans again. Good luck with the new plan. It would be nice to see the move actually happen, and to see Sabre have her own space (which she is clearly craving).

Yeah it's annoying now. The average family act and the way they're sometimes ungrateful about stuff. The amount of time they've spent arguing about rooms in a mansion and which kid is going to get their own en suite! And now it turns out that instead of learning to be grateful for what you've been offered they're just going to buy the mansion next door too. Most people can't afford to get anywhere near Bondi let alone buy two mansions! And they've been complaining about the move taking so long but it's only because they want to do massive re-designs. Sabre could've moved into her apartment weeks ago but they wanted a full re-model. Seems weird to complain about having to live in a smaller room for a year when the reason it's taking a year is because you've ordered building works!

Honestly, I don't know if I can even wait for the move to the Bondi House. I feel like the cycle is going again with them finding a house and then they can't move into it. I can feel Biggy and Sockie's frustration and I feel frustrated too. I also think they didn’t really take Sockie and Biggy’s frustration and opinion into consideration and just said a quick sorry before moving on.

For starters I felt the same as sockie, I thought it was stupid and a terrible idea, sabre loves that apartment so much. But seeing the house my jaw dropped, it’s such a beautiful house.

This is taking forever, 4 years of hyping about buying houses, selling them, renovations. Just move already. The renovation of the bondi house has been taking place for about a year now and still going… I get the frustration that Sabre has and wants to move quickly

Something feels off. How can Sabers apartment get a big offer when it's not even up for sale? And how is it that conveniently the house right next door to their home in Bondi is up for sale?? It just seems like a plot to keep sabre close.. notice that the options that were given to her didn't even involve her finding another apartment.. they keep delaying any sort of action that would make the kids have some independence. Look at all these unnecessary renovations for the apartment there was nothing wrong with it.

I can agree and disagree with you. Give Sabre a break, she's at a point in life where she's just trying to navigate adult hood and it's never easy when parents don't help during that time either. If Sabre wants to move out she should've gotten her own job and saved for her own place instead of her parents buying her one. Hope you can see where im coming from. But I can completely agree with the whole indecisiveness of the family. They've been talking about moving for over a year and all they're doing is buying property, getting half way through Reno's then selling again. They're losing more money than their spending giving the Australian housing situation at the moment and the fact that they're probably spending close to a mil on a property in Bondi only to tear most of it out for Reno's and sell it when Reno's aren't even finished, so much money being lost.

Justins idea to buy the neighbouring house sounds like the perfect solutions. Flizzy could move over and Sabre could stay with Flizz in the 2nd house once the Norris Nuts home 2.0 is finished being renovated. So happy for the Norris Nuts family. They deserve this and have worked so hard to get where they are. Thankful that they are sharing this journey with us.

I dont understand why they were expecting the house to be done so quick, its so spoiled to sell everything done because they couldnt handle 4 months.

Everything keeps constantly switching. I think it’s time to stick to one decision and go with it. Especially, with that house already being worked on just keep the plan. And kids being involved is great, but sometimes certain decisions should be discussed and made by the adults. This change was done because Brooke wanted sabre to be close. There's plenty of options, like getting another apartment and not renovating it, which only delays the personal space sabre and teenagers need. I really hope sabre gets to be in Bondi in her own space and privacy.

I love the idea of buying the house next door. There’s a lot of possibilities there. I think sabre should get her own ‘apartment’ within the house. Including her own bathroom, living room space, and small kitchen. There should also be the same for flizzy (so she can come visit regularly). Other decisions come down to how much responsibility and independence you’re willing to give the other kids. I think the best idea would be to keep the current arrangements for the house you’ve already bought (sockie gets attic room, & biggy/Naz decide who gets the ensuite, maybe even building another ensuite taking space from the social area if that’s possible). But turn the house next door into a social space, with an apartment for sabre (and guest room/apartment for fliz). This could include a big living room for the kids to take friends, maybe a game room, spaces to film videos, a gym/dance studio, a music room, maybe a crafts room (for painting, clay work etc). This way the youngest 5 kids can still live right with their parents, but will have more space to go outside of their bedroom. Sabre will get the independence she wants, but without having to worry about being away from her family.

@@emma-qz4tj their new house is really big. It has 5 bedrooms (including 2 en-suites), a laundry room, 2 living room spaces, a big kitchen and more. (They’re just a big family so it doesn’t sound like a lot of space). I might be wrong but I assumed one floor would be enough for 2 mini apartments (considering that in the house they already have 1 floor was big enough for 4 decent sized bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large living room space).

i like that yall are open to having other options besides as a teenager growing up, the thought of having to move out at 18 is incredibly scary. i can’t imagine what it’s like for sabre who doesn’t even have a job.

I think Justin’s idea is really good. Getting to keep your dream house, sabre getting to Live by her self but still be really close to you guys, being able to move in a lot earlier and also being able to live near flizzy.

i think justin’s idea is great! i’m so excited for the day you guys officially move into your house and hopefully drop a really long vlog to watch because i love when you guys make long videos more than thirty minutes! also i really loved sabres outfit in this vlog💗

the idea of selling the unit and the house is such a crazy one. buying that house and spending so much money on renovating it aswell as sabres unit seems like such a waste of money. of course it depends on ehat the other house looks like, but it still is insane

I agree. I really feel this is happening because Brooke is not comfortable not having her kids close to her so she created all of this to make saber either before still live with her in a big giant house or live next door to her if she wants to stay in Bondi. Sad. Every teenager deserves Independence and personal space and privacy but Brooke panicked.

It’s great to see them all grown up after so long and it warms my heart to see me grow up with them❤

because theres still specific things she would like.. its her home that she will likely be living in for a while, especially since shes gonna be living alone. reno doesnt just mean adding, it could also be changing the windows because they're not insulated enough, etc.

its not just renovations, moving into a house costs a lot and takes a lot of time w changing addresses, contracts, and just overall everything

I feel so bad for sabre about loosing her apartment BUT Justin's idea is brilliant! I love watching these videos! They are so exciting and fun

I understand why they would renovate the original house because they needed a new room and stuff (and unnecessary things) but sabres apartment seemed ready enough like maybe the colors weren't perfect but that shouldnt prevent you from moving

Tbh I’m really disappointed. I was really excited to see the actual house come together and I really liked the design of the house and I think it’s just a bit sad how you all have been so excited for it for a long time, waiting for the moment to come. I have so many feelings about this. I understand why Sockie had some skepticism about the most recent plans. My primary concern is that y'all are able to actually purchase the two homes in Sydney, getting it done and getting it move-in ready without further delays. The children have been through enough. Next to that: make sure that "You're really going to like X" never turns into "YOU BETTER LIKE X AND I WON'T HEAR IT IF YOU HAVE DIFFERENT FEELINGS." I'm hypersensitive to that, I think, because I grew up in a family that excluded me. It's why I felt Charm's pain in my gut when she was told that she was "not a Norris Nut." Charm and Disco MOST CERTAINLY ARE TOO NORRIS NUTS. They may not be up to a conversation about where to live, but they are not babies anymore either. If the two homes can be purchased, or have already been purchased, it solves a multitude of issues that have come up in the past year. Flizzy and Phoebe will have a place. Mum, Dad, and Sabre can do their adult things. The children can advance, complete, or begin their educations. Winky and Pluto will thrive; a place can be set aside for Baz and Cheddar. It would be a much better setup than the Bondi house. I wish y'all the best of luck how ever y'all proceed. Love always.

If Sabre wants to move out/move to Bondi she can just do it like a normal 18/19/20 year old, & maybe do the housemate thing with other peers her age etc... It seems like I have an unpopular opinion based on the comments, but I don't get why she's still babied as much as she is? She can make her own decisions, she's an adult now... All 3 of us kids moved out between 18 & 20yrs old, without help etc, and paid our own way... I don't she still feels mama & papa need to make her decisions, she can take control of her own life ❤🌈🌻

I think that Justin’s idea was amazing and smart, having Sabre and you guys together, so you guys don’t get splitted, and watching flizzy, I would recommend Justin in my opinion.

For everyone who feels sorry for sabre, I agree. None of the options that were given to her involved her having her own private home/space. You can't really have a party or have your friends over with your parents and little brother and sister living next door that would hear everything. This is just a way for Brooke to keep her close because notice she didn't even mention the option of finding her a new apartment nearby..sad for sabre. She deserves to grow up and have some Independence

Literally the second option is her getting her own HUMONGOUS house did you even watch the video plus this isn’t even the final video there’s still the option of them keeping the house plus she’s literally OVERJOYED with this like she was the most excited about it in the whole video. Justin's idea is incredible, I think Sabre is not yet ready to live completely alone (or at least that is my vision, I come from a country where people move in their 20s, at 24 or 25), she could live a couple more years in the house with Flizzy, they would both keep each other company, it would be a quiet place for Saber away from her younger siblings and when Sookie grows up and is an adult she could also live in that house. It's true, Sabre would lose her apartment, but I think she's still a little young for that and in a couple of years they could buy another apartment for her when she's mature enough. Another positive factor is that when the children grow up, they can rent or sell one of the houses (on the other hand, with the elegant and big house they couldn't), also by the time Soockie, Biggy and Naz are in their 20s they could live there. 3 in that house, and flizzy charm and disco in the main house with their parents

Do you really think Flizzy is waiting on that? Flizzy likes her own place and privacy. She likes her private time away from the others, meaning her own house in peace and quiet. She said it many times. I think she can deal with Sabre now because it's 1 person and she knew it was for a little while untill the Bondi house is finished. Really don't think she is waiting on sharing the house with more people. Sharing house with multiple people is what you do when you're young, usually during Uni and maybe for a while after it, not when you're adults

With a whole house for flizzy and sabre, they can divide it in the upper floor for flizzy, and the lower one for sabre, also flizzy can live with sabre for a while and then sell her house in queensland and buy a new one, my point is they have many options. I think it's also good for Flizzy to have company. She's not getting any younger, and in Queensland she would be completely alone.
