This is so awesome. The World Government tried to use Sabo as a patsy for King Kobra’s death. They ended up making him an inspiration for more rebellions.

It's the Paramount War all over again; an event that should've ended in the Government regaining control over the world at large, but it instead caused a far bigger uproar in favor of their enemies. Imagine how pissed Akainu would be if he found out Cobra was killed by the GOROSEI.

@ceecee6521 I doubt he would care about king Coba, he wasn't a criminal in his eyes, he completely sucked into the World Groverment lies and he was willing to kill Cody for yelling his thoughts during the War, he beyond redeeming as he killed a boat load of innocent people over the possibility that an archaeologist was hiding among the people on board!!

I don’t think it’s been discussed in the anime yet, but the Marine perception is that the Revolutionary Army wants to collapse the World Government entirely, whereas Dragon himself states they only want to remove the Celestial Dragons from power. Obviously the World Government has to exist in some form to deter pirates from running roughshod all over the world, and people like Garp and Vegapunk accept this, but if I’m Sakazuki, I’m asking myself whether the Government, and by extension the Marines, can properly fulfill that purpose if the Nobles are in charge of the pirate-hunting operations, especially in light of Doflamingo’s false resignation.

Akainu is just an antagonist and not a villain , how biased can the fanbase be for their love of the straw hats and luffy that they only see from the perspective of pirates and the navy for most are just incompetent assholes who are just corrupt government dogs when in reality they all just follow their own moral code and try to help howeber they can

You didnt watch Ohara episodes? If i am not wrong or it doesnt come out wrong later on then Akainu sank a ship of civilians by bombarding it. During the War of the Best, Akainu killed deserters which is understandable to a certain degree but actions speak another language rather than his words. His name Akainu translates to „red dog“ which you may have known. His actions seem to represent that part of his name.

@@eorzoriantr5228 a veteran of war Is a veteran of war soldier , that's how reality usted to work back in the Ancient times ,to me akainu Is the most realístic representation of a "marine" in the series , it's not about who Is good or bad or who loves or hates , it's pirates vs marines , akainu Is pragmátic and may seem like a unrelatable character , but what can you expect, the world aint a nice place and soldiers are a meant to serve órderd a d follows the law , he Is the definition of it ,someone who carries the job and gets shit done without any single momento hesitation, if anyone was as morally good as luffy or the straw hats or any other then who knows ,from akainu's perspecty he Is dealing and fighting against the scum of the world and he Is just doing what needs to be done , a soldier must serve it's people and follows rules even if there are sacrifices along the way Akainu, Sengoku, Kizaru, Kuzan , and all the other soldiers and pirates are supposed to represent the role in the series , akainu represents what a leader should be and specially someone who Is adamadant incorder and law
