During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in the culinary delights that the area had to offer.
One of the culinary highlights of my trip was the renowned Sabir Nihari, a culinary gem nestled within the folds of Urdu Bazar. The aroma of simmering spices and slow-cooked meats wafted through the air as we eagerly ordered their specialty, the Maghaz Nalli Mix Special Nihari. The dish, a symphony of flavors and textures, showcased the mastery of traditional Pakistani cuisine. The tender meat, flavorful bone marrow, and aromatic spices created a gastronomic experience that left a lasting impression.
Before our savory encounter with Sabir Nihari, we decided to explore the local flavors recommended by the seasoned locals. This led us to 'Irshad ka Thiya,' a charming dhaba that prides itself on serving delicious home-cooked meals with a changing menu every day. Irshaad bhai nick name "mamoo" is a genuine food vendor with a different item everyday. In year 2000 we used to eat 'aaloo qeema' in 60 rupees. Time flies and today in Zia's v-log I was back in time 23 years from now. He was very hygienic in those days too. We used to have lunch in "raatan talaoo" bazaar with a different taste everyday from him. Thank you zia bhai for taking me back in time.
