The reason why shirou and Sakura smashed is because the lust worm were literally feeding on her bones,nervous system and mind since they need energy to keep off,so if they didnt do it Sakura wouldnt be lasting for the next day or so her mind would be dead and her

technically given same resources saber is stronger than saber alter BUT saber alter in this scenario has unlimited mana supply (or close to it) so she can spam mana burst/excalibur which makes her walking nuke Saber's parameters : Strength: B Endurance: B Agility: B Mana: A Luck: A+ NP: A++ Saber alter's parameters : Strength: A Endurance: A Agility: D Mana: A++ Luck: C NP: A++ Alter has heavier armor which gives more endurance and heavier strikes but loses a LOT in agility (meaning if both fought each other she would get outmaneuvered a lot) loses riding skill, invisible air and her instinct skill gets reduced (that's the skill that allowed her to survive Gae Bolg and Tsubame Gaeshi which is actually saber's most important skill since it's close to seeing the future in order to avoid fatal strikes, especially combined with A+ luck normal saber has it allowed her to survive "impossible to survive attacks" twice xD). In alternate stories (FGO) we have a saber alter that is under normal mana supply from the protagonist and she wont be doing any of that boom boom stuff xD

@@mless She actually wasnt spamming Excalibur but her skill mana burst. In the Heaven's feel Q&A Nasu (the author) clarifies that Excalibur wasnt used till the end which was what did Herc in.

Saber's Stats under Rin/Extella where she is summoned at full strength have her at A rank strength as well. FGO Saber is weakened for some unknown reason. For a fair comparison in the movie though we should compare salter to shirou Artoria to show the difference in performance from the first and second movie. Shirou Artoria's Stats are Strength: B Endurance: C Agility: C Mana: B Luck: B NP: C

@@mless she is using mana burst (except for the last attack). Using excalibur needs taking the stance. Mana burst on the other hand is faster and consumes as much power as she wants (she can basically stack multiple activation of mana burst on top of each other, the more mana she sinks in it the more destructive it gets, it's the skill she used against berserker in UBW to split him open the first time they fought, she used it also against gilgamesh in the last episodes of UBW when he was on the temple. It's just that alter has unlimited mana to throw into it so it looks like excalibur xD). The thing is Heracle's 12 labor give him resistance to anything that killed him, so usually using the same attack again and again wouldnt work but saber just keeps increasing the output (at some point heracles don't even die from the attack but from the HEAT generated by the attack because he gained too much resistance to the attack itself which is kinda crazy. Dude just had bad matchups (same reason why gilgamesh and EMIYA are actually Heracles' nightmare because they can summon many different weapons thus he can't build any resistance))

@@mless That were just mana bursts barring the end, and actual Saber is actually pretty hard to define, cause she's usually nerfed in one way or another(especially with Shirou as master) but a fully powered Saber with unsealed Excalibur would be far beyond even this mana-juiced form of Saber Alter.

Saber Alter is what happens when Saber is at peak performance. Shows you how badly Shirou was nerfing her by being a poor mana battery. Which makes Fate Zero a bit weird since she honestly doesnt perform much different when powered by Kiritsugus wife.

Saber Alter is actually weaker than her normal state. But she just has an unlimited supply of mana. And Irisviel was not her master, Kiritsugu was and he was as bad as Shirou in providing mana.

overall their stat are the same with Saber Alter being a bit stronger physically but slower in speed the only reason she is this strong her is unlimited mana and a more brutal personality

This is why Zero is treated as different timeline from Stay Night since in the VN it is implied that the only servant Saber had any trouble with in the 4th war was Gilgamesh also including the fact of Saber being to naive and Gilgamesh not being as big of a creep as he was in Stay Night

Shirou was indeed nerfing her pretty badly, but this Saber is still nerfed(to a lesser degree) and just makes up for that with an insane mana supply.

42:10 while other people explained other stuff I’ll explain how Gil lost. She had a fragment of the grail in her and the shadow has a natural advantage against servants which also helped to weaken Heracles in his fight against saber alter. Gil knew about the grail fragment but didn’t know how far along in its progression to becoming Angra was. It also didn’t help that he as usual just spammed basic weapons without a second thought. It should be noted that Sakura did state in the other forms of media of Heavens feel that she had to digest Gil’s mana quickly or else he’d come back.

@@mless its the final FGO movie and the final fate movie in general you really shouldn't watch it until you have finished pretty much everything Fate since it has characters from every single series and could spoil you it's the Avengers Endgame of the franchise so I wouldn't be mad if you never got to it
