TalonIndustries Greece 90s FTW...

It was autumn of 1991. I was forth grade pupil, and we had gym class. I was one of the smallest and skinniest boys in class, also one of the slowest. Boys were split in two groups, and each one of us had to race somebody else from second group. My opponent was one boy who was tallest in class. I knew I had no chance, and by the laughing comments others thought that too. But, I said to myself, why shouldnt I at least try - I only have to stay focused on my path (I wont look at him or anyone else), and, I will play "Saber Rider" song in my head. I left him for at least 3 meters on race which was about 30 meters long. That was probably my own first life victory. And I remember it till this day. :)

well this was japanese anime,thats why it was cool,also it was actualy changed a lot for the west,a lot of the adult themes were changed,even the main character is changed,the guy on the horse isnt the main guy,its the red dude

People dont feel down for getting old. Let videos like these make you take a glimce of the good old days!

everyone is going on about the solo guitar, i mean i love it too, but give some credits to the man singing the song. He has the best voice. Also the Lyrics are incredible. Even if it wasn't an anime music but a normal song, it would hit the bilboards for sure. Such music man such music, still moves me to the stars. I can listen this for a million times and wouldn't be bored for sure.

Everytime I listen to these old television songs it chills me to the bones... never heard something better than that in the actual TV series!!!

This means I was listening to metal music since 7 years old

I really love it when this song plays when April commands Ramrod for Challenge Phase. Her soft tone against Mr. Cullen's commanding voice really do play well to form one bad ass Robot.

Fun fact: Saber Rider was completely cut into pieces and rearranged for the western market, not only the story has changed a lot but also references to substance abuse removed, episodes switched, scenes rewritten etc. For example, in the original series, the Outriders die when shot, they don't get teleported away.

The original Japanese serie is clearly for adults with all that dying stuff etc. The american Version has fantastic Music and Sounds but is much more Kids friendly

Eines der besten Cartoon-intros überhaupt. Damals hatte man noch richtige Musik und nicht nur diese Synty-mucke, ich sag nur "Gitarrensolo". Tolles Stück Musik, ich bin begeistert.

Heard this song through the 80s-90s compilation of intros on KZread. Gotta say it's one of the best cartoon intros I've ever heard! Sick! 80s-90s peeps really put their all into creating and animating this stuff! :)

Someone is actually WHIPPING the guitarist to do the solos SO GOOD... XD

Haven't seen an episode of this show in 20 years, but i've never forgotten the "your destiny will lead you, to where the people need you..." line.

This show was so good... and the music still rocks! Miss those times!!

Das is echt ne geile Serie gewesen, und immer noch meine Lieblingsserie , ich schau sie heut immer noch :) Unsere heutige Jugend bekommt nix mehr gescheites vor ihre Zeichentrickaugen.

Oh god. I remember watching this cartoon show as a kid. The theme song is kick ass and even though it's probably the longest opening theme ever for a cartoon show, you don't feel like skipping it cos the music is so cool. I wish theme songs nowadays have the same appeal as Saber Rider and other 80's shows.

das theme ist und bleibt einfach der hammer. nachdem ich die serie aber vor nen paar jahre auf dvd gekauft und mit über 20 nochmal angesehen haben, muss ich sagen, dass die lange nicht so gut ist, wie ich sie in erinnerung hatte..

Hatte grad so n Flashback in meine kindheit, das ich geflennt hab..... ich glaub ich war der größte Sabre rider fan ever. jaja, wenn man klein ist, will man nur groß werden...wenn man erwachsen ist, will man nochma kind sein. bester intro song, von einer der absolut Most Epic Zeichentrick serie.

Περίμενα με ανυπομονησία πιτσιρικάς μπροστά απ' την τηλεόραση να το δω. Όλο όμως! Μαζί με το intro. Αν έχανα την εισαγωγή σε κάθε επεισόδιο, θα στενοχωριόμουν. Σαν σαλάτα στο τραπέζι θα ήταν χωρίς σουβλάκι :)

Old cartoon strips kick ass in all their awesomness. No modern day show comes even close to Saber Rider, Marshall Bravestarr and all the good series!
