    Pastor Doug. I appreciate and enjoy your sermons. You made an error. EXODUS 16:FIVE regress to the giving of manna. But God DID NOT send twice on the Sabbath but sent TWICE as much on the SIXTH DAY. you stated Exodus 16:18 in place of Exodus 16v5. Good wouldn't have sent manna on the Sabbath.. that would've been WORK.

    D HOW DID THE LAW COVENANT BECOME "OBSOLETE"? However, the Law covenant became in a sense "obsolete" when God announced by means of the prophet Jeremiah that there would be a new covenant. (Jer. 31:31-45; Heb. 8:13) In 33 C.E. the Law covenant was canceled on the basis of Christ's death on the torture stake (Col. 2:14), the new covenant replacing it.-- Heb. 7:12; 9:15; Ac. 2:1-4.

  • @johncolage1651

    @johncolage1651

    Doug Thus, if a person insists on holding to the observance of the literal sabbath, he fails to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the torture stake and thus rejects the forgiveness of sins that it makes possible. It is just as if he insisted on offering animal sacrifices after Jesus had offered himself, the one sacrifice for sins forever.

    I have some words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, but it is for real and I thought it would be important to say it. Its long because I've tried to and any faqs! Hopefully this will answer some of those nagging questions - Why can't evil be forgiven and let off, how is the whole "Jesus dying" thing really relevant to anything? To you? if you still have any questions let me know x Ever struggle? Ever doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Ever wonder if He exists for that matter? Read this: All of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human! You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23 What is that "glory", morally speaking? Well, the opposite of human nature and desires. Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us. But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it? Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things. Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it? God is described as a "righteous judge" in the bible, many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil. This essentially means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell. "The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20 But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation. Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin. God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us). God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished. Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf). So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH. "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortality and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25-26 ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone. Religion = rules to be saved The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out. ...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? What does it actually mean for us? It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation. Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life. What is this new way entail? It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39. Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose. Sound "opposite" again? God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature. We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God) Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the, Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts, verses, ideas and prayers and guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him. ... What is the way FOR though? Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations. Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15. Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world. The path He wants you to walk is one of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation. All we need is faith to believe it. The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived. God preferred His own Son to be tortured and *killed* to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him. What if I still sin after accepting Christ? That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus. It's a process - a lifelong one - of God bringing you back to Him and away from the destructive pleasures of sin (think greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This process takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame. Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful. "those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37 ...HOW DO I LEARN MORE? Don't know where to start? Note down the Gospel of "John", or "Luke" (if you want a more detailed account of it all). Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6 Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling. You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you. Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you. Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - John 3:16 Thanks for reading if you did xxxx. I just felt that I should tell you regardless, just so that you know, tried to answer any questions. Let me know if you have any more if you need clarification xx

    The book of the law is written by the hand writings of Moses, contained statue and judgements, ordinances, which was against us, this book of the law written by Moses was nailed to the cross spoken in Colossians 2.14-17, not to be confuse with the Law of God written by God's finger!. Difference in the Book of Moses written by Moses hand writing and the Law of God written by God! Exodus 24.3-4,7 ¶3And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do. 4And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 7And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. In verse 12 God calls Moses up to receive the 10 Commandments! 12And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. Deuteronomy 4.13-14 13And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. 14And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it. Deuteronomy 31.24-26 24¶And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, 25That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. 2 Chronicles 33..8 8Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses. In Colossians 2.14-17 many people have been led to think Paul is speaking about the 10 Commandments because the Sabbath is mentioned, however, Paul was talking about the ceremonial laws which had other Sabbath feasts which were part of the sacrificial system, these ceremonial Sabbath's were nailed to the cross!, Not to be confused with the 7th day Sabbath part of God's 10 Commandments which was created in Genesis 2.2-3. Colossians 2.14-17 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16¶Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. When the Sabbath is put into law to forbid work, is not that enforcing religion on them who do not believe? I believe in freedom of religion and keeping the Sabbath but when the employer is not a Sunday or Sabbath, what right is it to take away their freedom? I do think the Sunday law has already passed, and Adventist did not pick up on it. The reformation after 1844 I believe was for the Adventist to set up schools and employment that enforcement does not infringe on unbelievers and believers that differs from that what is personally given.

    I am so surprised at all the people calling these pastors "Pharisees"!! For one thing God did not condemn the church leaders because they were church leaders, He created the leadership and temple. He called them out for their hypocracy in not keeping the laws themselves, and their cruel intentions. Many church leaders in Jesus's day did believe in Him and were saved. The "Wicked Pharisees" you all seem to be referring to were cruel, violent and hateful people. They did not do good for their fellow man. They did not practice what they preached, and they implemented rules outside of scripture. Pastor Batchelor and all of his organization do exactly the opposite. They are not "plotting how they might destroy" someone, they are trying to get people involved in the Gospel and make them as biblically competant as possible. Jesus got victory over the temptations of the devil with the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament. In regards to the church leaders in Jesus' day, he said to the people, "Do as they say and not as they do". So He never once condemned the preaching of the Scriptures. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments", and Revelation..."Here is the patience of the saints, here are those that keep the commandments of God , and have the faith of Jesus". Revelation is written to everyone alive today.

    Erm... I've heard that "one day is like a thousand years" doctrine several times now. It's not correct. All it means is that when Jesus says "I'm coming soon", it might be a while (2,000 years so far). That's it!! Also, while in heaven for the 1,000 year judgment, how can that even be considered a Sabbath rest?!? Going over the books is WORK. It won't be a Sabbath. If you want to get all prophetic, then just stick with the "a day is a year" (in prophecy). To say that sometimes a day is like a thousand years, and other times it's a year, is just confusing. Anyway, my 2 cents. God bless.

    On a lunar calendar it's impossible to get three full night's and three full days in the tomb before the resurrection - you don't understand your own false lunar calendar. The omer is on the 16th Abib on the lunar calendar and on the 19th Abib on the correct solar calendar ! Christ was resurrected starting the 18th Abib "in three days" and "after three days" of exactly 72 hours in the tomb !

    No the mosaic law was what was nailed to the cross. Did you ever read about Christ having to keep the mosaic law? No The mosaic law was a law about cleansing the believer and it was kept on the outside of the ark unlike the commandments that were inside the ark. God said to place them on the outside of the ark to be a witness against them. They were meant to point them to their need of salvation. Cleaning them just like Christ cleans the sin from the believer now. If the bible says that Christ was without sin and that sin is the transgression of the law. Well the fact Christ was sinless he needed no cleaning thus the law is obviously the ten commandments. The book of Revelation states that the saints are they that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus. The ten commandments were also known as the tablets of the testimony. If Christ was without sin then he has no need to be cleaned.

    It is time for believers worldwide to WAKE UP, get serious about reading the WORD, obeying what we read and STOP putting our trust in man! ''Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart turns away from Yahweh"(Jeremiah 17:5) We have been LIED TO in Churches about the Name above all names. Our Creator has a Name - YAHWEH and He put His Name upon His one and only begotten Son - YAHSHUA. ''Be on guard before Him and obey His voice. Do not rebel against Him, for He is not going to pardon your transgression, for My Name is in Him." (Exodus 23:21) We have been LIED TO about the SABBATHS of Yahweh. ''Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yahweh, to be His servants, all who guard the Shabbath, and not profane it, and hold fast to My Covenant - them I shall bring to My qodesh mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer." (Isaiah 56:6-7) We Have been LIED TO about the COMMANDS of Yahweh. "And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His Commands. The one who says, 'I know Him,' and does not guard His Commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him." (1 John 2:3-5) It is time to PRAY for an opening of BLINDED EYES to understand His loving Covenant to ISRAEL, who we MUST be GRAFTED IN TO to become the children of Yah! It's time to shelve our learning inherited from "the whore" and become as little children to allow the Spirit of Yah to re-instruct us in the TRUTH! ''Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become as little children, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the shamayim." (Matthew 18:3) It's time to CLEAN UP our act and to cease wallowing in the abominations and lusts of the world! ''Come out from among them and be separate, says יהוה, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you." (2 Corinthians 6:17) A total enslavement is coming very very soon. Mr. Batchelor, does not rightly divide the word of God. To keep the sabbath was NEVER a command to man to keep. If SDAs want to keep the sabbath, then keep everything else given to the Jewish nation, to the sons of Israel, Jacob. All the feasts, resting the Sabbatical 7th year. There isn't a single bible passage to keep the sabbath before the giving of the Law through Moses. There is no record of punishment or God's anger to any individual for not keeping the Law of Moses before that Law was given. Not a single passage, not one is there a record of sabbath-keeping until the Law was given to Moses. Bad exegesis. No one is to judge anyone by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival , a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath Day. (Col. 2:16) THAT'S CLEAR. And even clearer... In both of the Jerusalem councils in Acts 15 (AD 49) and 21 (AD 56), the elders and Paul are deciding what is absolutely binding on all the gentiles coming to faith in Jesus Christ. Gentiles who knew nothing about Jewish Law, festivals, dietary laws, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! So the elders who had walked with Jesus and Paul to whom Jesus had appeared. They were setting down the absolutes what these. gentiles were to do absolutely, please note that in these instructions there ISN'T A SINGLE MENTION OF KEEPING A SABBATH!!! Nothing!!! Read any good Bible commentary about the lives of these gentiles who were in the Greco-Roman world and what they were doing in their pagan lives in temples, worshiping idols, their sexual practices, etc. And the elders and Paul also stated: "God..gave them the Holy Spirit just as He also did to us; and He made no distinction between them and us, cleansing their hearts by faith. Now therefore why do you put god to the test by placing upon their new or the disciple a yoke, which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear: But we believe that we are SAVED THROUGH THE GRACE F THE LORD JESUS IN THE SAME WAY AS THEY ALSO ARE." Acts 15:8-11 These passages were about GENTILES (Acts 15:14, 17, 19) These gentiles were instructed to Acts 15:20; 21:25: #1) Abstain from things contaminated by idols #2). Abstain from fornication #3). Abstain from what is strangled from blood NOW. By logic, if it is written in the Bible what was mandatory for those gentiles coming into the church to keep the sabbath, it would be important to mention here. In fact, no where in the writings of Paul, who said that Jesus made him an apostle to the Gentiles (Gal. 1:15-16; Gal. 2:9; Acts 22:21; Rom. 15:18-21; Eph. 3:7-9; Rom. 1:14-15; 1 Cor. 9:19-23. AGAIN, NOT ONE SINGLE PASSAGE IS ABOUT a gentile keeping the Sabbath. Anyone listening to this videos, NOTE how Doug uses Old Testament passages to prove his false theological positions. If this were a requirement for the CHURCH, just logic, it would have been given as a directive in the New Testament. And, there is ONE, please hear me. Forget about me. Hear the Bible!!! The apostles NEVER, NEVER, NEVER taught to keep the 7th day Sabbath! NEVER! It takes all this explanation from the Old Testament to teach you a lie. - -

    Here is something for you - - - Papa, Pope, Papacy, Holy father, father (used in the spiritual sense) are words of blasphemy. Papa or Pope is a translation of the Hebrew name ABBA = FATHER (Our CREATOR). Our LORD JESUS commands us, “And call no one your father on earth, for you have one Father-the one in heaven.” Matthew 23:9 (New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition). He is the “Bishop of Rome”, a Priest, the Head of the Roman Church, the Leader of Babylon, the Beast, but he is no ABBA and cannot be called as such by any follower of CHRIST. To call him Pope or Papa is a sinful blasphemy that JESUS commended us NOT TO DO SO. AB in Hebrew is father. BA reading from right to left as is done in Hebrew is also father. AB and BA = ABBA which also means Father. ABBA is literally 3 Fathers in ONE. The S”ABBA”TH is literally GOD’s house or Sanctuary. “B” in Hebrew mens House or place of habitation. The SABBATH is God’s house where HE, OUR CREATOR, meets us, HIS children, every week. The SABBATH is God’s Temple in Time where ABBA and HIS beloved children enjoy, Worship, Fellowship, Friendship, and Discipleship! Because ABBA literally resides in the SABBATH making the SABBATH holy because of HIS presence. When we meet ABBA in ABBA’s Holy Sanctuary (The SABBATH) we also become holy in HIS holy presence. Don’t ever call S”ABBA”TH, “Satur”day - - - That is a violation of the 3rd Commandment. Don’t replace ABBA’s holy name by a pagan (Satanic creation) “Satur.” Be careful with error - - - The Weekend does not ends with Sunday or Monday (Long). Remember, the week ends with the SABBATH, not on Sunday or Monday. Now you know the Truth share it with others. ABBA’s blessings!

    Sabbath a day of freedom yet there's a very old & outdated belief that people who don't keep the Sabbath are by your belief unworthy or lost to God if they don't keep it on Saturday. You condemn them & judge them for it, but that's not your place or say to do this & it also breaks your own rule. 😑 But this comes from Judaism & not Christianity. These are two different religions meant to be separate. Just like Religion had to change, churches also had to to fit the times we are in now. Literally trying to suggest that People must keep it the old way otherwise you must be lost or decieved is what I call dinosaur logic. You are unwilling to change even though it's happening all the time, such is the actual nature of Life. It grows, changes & evolves too as it must. Who do you think wanted this change? God 😏 If this wasn't true, how come we are even here? Truth be told, if things were fated to end, we wouldn't be here now. The new replaced the old, just as the Alpha overwrote the Omega, it had to. You see things aren't just for God while people come second, that's the twist in this & this is the cruel & ironic aspect of this insomuch that it actually robs people of individual will & uniqueness. You are taught to resist Change when change is the only way to move forward & grow as the People we are meant to be. Calling your perception of the Sabbath freedom is more like a twisted joke. 😑 God is anything but for himself & selfish. That came from somewhere else in the past & a future no one needs to be a part of, that's a world of oppression & control while someone plays God with all of us. This outcome represents a failure to learn from the past & be better than it. So what does God want now? For us to understand how important our Humanity is, it's not something to throw away or separate from nor is it a weakness, but a strength. If God knew everything & how it would be, why are we human at all? 😏 Somewhere in history, this was twisted to contain who we really are instead of helping us grow from it. To Separate & Oppose. No good ever came from using fear to force people to follow or conform & thinking yourself only a servant or this small to God, who dislikes you for being human & separates himself from his own people yet demands obedience, power & glory because he's God, he's perfect & better than the rest. But even such as the model for how we aspire to be, why is he jealous or wrathful or vengeful in the old testament? Such behavior is unbecoming of someone who's supposed to be beyond such things. The old will never define the new nor our futures. It is part of a world long gone & should never be lived out of just because you are afraid of God or any threats & ultimatums given. It is the chaff & the tare, it should be thrown away & forgotten. 😑 That's not freedom & never will be. Religion never created futures, it was used to stifle them & keep people from realizing who they truly were. Not servants but Human Beings. . . Themselves. You may shun people at your table, but they will always be welcomed at mine. It isn't just how much Spirit a person has or how strong Faith is, but what's in their Hearts that counts. Truth isn't Truth just because it's Truth, where's the Love & Compassion in that? What is it worth without it's Heart AND Spirit. That is the greatest Truth of all - Love 💖 It's all you need. Peace 👼😊👼💖☝🐦

Afterall.... They Devil is a LIAR and a MURDERER from the beginning....... He beguiled eve and adam.... He murdered the Lord Jesus.... Pray for wisdom from heaven ..... Pray for the enlightening of the holy spirit... Preachers like Pr.Dough are similar to ELIJAH at the altar of Baal..... challenging the world to review the world's misguided ideas about the biblical sabbath.... If Jesus is your God then the 7th day saturday is the Sabbath...... because that is the day God rested and blessed and sanctified and made holy.... in the weekly cycle... If Jesus is NOT your God... then obviously every other DAY and every other argument would be presented to evade the truth....
