Ostara has got to be one of the saddest holidays for Hades followers

First day of Ostara here, cleansed, warded, and protected, and spending some time outside. Probably gonna give offerings tomorrow, maybe make a flower crown.

I keep hearing how good that correspondence book is. I’m gonna have to cave and buy it I think.🤔

I’m going to spend time outside, carry around the crystals associated with this holiday, of course spring cleaning, and give my deities new offerings!

I'm cleaning, cleansing and spending time in the closest forest which happens to be pine!

This will be my first time celebrating it! I'm planning on planting some herbs and flowers, going for a picnic of sorts, lighting some jasmine incense, and cleaning. Oh, also I'm making a gluten-free honey cake that I'm very excited about!

Im gonna write my wishes onto an egg, have eggs for special dinner and give my plants and plastic snake extra attention. I´d like to actually do some gardening, but weather is terrible lately.

I've never been this early, watching this with a major headache but oh well, Frankie posted, I have to watch.

Yay! I need some ideas because I am busy and have not prepared 😶

Amazing video as always. I'm getting ready for the autumn equinox here so prep is a little different. It's coinciding with a friend's birthday so we're having a little at-home gathering and we'll be baking a cake for that, and I'll be doing some extra protection work too! Enjoy the equinox ♥️

Personally, ( off topic) I think having an online/ virtual grimoire is a great idea because you should always be able to add to it,or create changes, and cite sources. I love the idea of a virtue grimoire you can always have on hand, or in your pocket if you can access through your phone. However the idea of a paper Book of Shadows appeals to my love for books and calligraphy( even if I can’t do it correctly). I feel like your BoS should grow with you and as the more personal of the two would seem more like a diary where the grimoire is your notes and data. Mostly I just don’t want to waste a pretty journal just to know al the information is wrong a few years later. But learning is always good and should be encouraged!

I am celebrating today for the first time! I am so glad this is the first time I have been able to celebrate anything. My sisters fiancé let me get a rosemary plant today. :) I’m cleaning my room and my altar. I going to try and go to the park and get some sticks. I might give the lavender plant (my sister bought a few years ago) some eggshell and rose pedals! :D I am really excited! I hope your day has been very nice!
