It was the Ottomans who admired the Polish army, and later respected Poland for the fact that Jan III Sobieski defeated them at Vienna. After that battle, they respected Poland so much that they never agreed to the partition of Poland. For them, this country existed all the time.

Öte yandan buraya geldiklerinde de Cliffs of Gallipoli'yi söylerken Joackim Atatürk'ten bahsedip sahneye Türk bayrağı ile çıktı. Bu olay Polonya'nın tarihinde savunma savaşı dışında Varşova kanatlılarının kazandığı önemli bir muharebe. do you think that Poland defeated ottomans in 1 war? funny if you think so, Lithuania became an ottoman vassal for like 10 years, then broke it. Ottomans on Crimean-Polish border defeated poland and expanded, how do you think they broke in ukraine parts

@@TatarProductions Some people forget that it was succes in one battle, not in entire campaign of turks on Europe. You are right, Turks won majority of battles between them and Europeans, Poland ending up losing some teritory during it , also including losing battle for moldavia, But after all, majority of Europe managed to survive and thats what some people call a victory Edit: forgot to mention that after battle of Vienna Poland, during Polish-Ottoman war which was pretty long, Poland managed to get back territory lost during other wars with ottomans , after signing treaty of Karlowitz

Last time I was this early the winged hussars still hadn't arrived and didn't came down turning the tide.
I remember being at a summer carnival at school once, we had a polish kid in our class, he stuck his arm up when asked who wants to ride a horse and the moment he sat in the saddle there was a bright flash and he was in full winged hussar uniform and armour. The few turks at the carnival turned on there heals and ran like the devil was behind them. This was the third time he changed in to different uniforms. 303 squadron uniform when we went to a battle of Britain museum. Polish home army uniform when we went to Warsaw. We had no idea how he did it. Then I found sabaton and it all made sense
Winged Hussars will be the first boss of 2021. And I'm telling you that as a Polish - good luck everyone.

This story is the historical equivalent of the riders of Roherrim at Helms Deep
Once, I was tasked to be the OpFor/Red team on a training exercise in the army. Through a combination of better knowledge of the area, suicidal aggression, and random bullshittery, we’d managed to force an infantry platoon to withdraw after trying to ambush us. We were about to give pursuit when a fucking tank platoon comes charging down the road right at us. Saved by the -winged- tracked hussars.
This version is somehow better than the original version. I’m impressed!
It's impressive that Joakim can go so high and to stretch the words at the end of the song knowing that this is the last song of the concert... He is truly undoubtedly a good singer... Respect for this man and for the band, they're the best
