I believe the invention of fertilizer out weighs the gas. Based on the fact that the fertilizer has helped ever since it was invented. During both war and peace..

Yes, but he is also responsible for overseeing the Haber institute, which developed pesticides, one of which was Zyklon A

@@AzraeltheangelofdeathYou act like without Zyklon, or any of the other stuff he made, what happened would just not happen. That was just the most convenient way for them to do stuff, if Zyklon didn't exist they would just find an alternative. It's not like he made it with the sole purpose of it being used for that purpose.

@@howescookiesbefore Zyklon SS units use old tank engines or have special design mobile gas truck where they use exhaust gases to k.ll people. They already had a ways.

2/3 of the world's population is alive Because of his invention, that's over 5 billion people. I don't remember if Haber was personally Involved in the development or if it was his it was his company that first made Zyklon A. The chemical Zyklon has no smell an was added a warnig smell to the delousing agent hence Zyklon A. The Nstzis removed the warning smell. And that was how we got Zyklon B. Butt when the warning smell was removed Haber was already on the run with his family and not in good health.

@@Azraeltheangelofdeathzyklon itself isn’t an evil invention, it’s a pesticide that the nazis realised could be used to kill people. It’s like saying cars are evil because you can run people over with them

You should check out live performance in Gothenburg of En Livstid I Krig (about the the 30 year war) or Swedish Pagans live in Stockholm

If you want songs not about the world wars my first thought goes to the Carolus Rex album. I suggest listening to both the english and swedish version if you chose to react to songs from that album.

Interestingly enough Sweden was officially neutral in both World Wars so there isn't really that immediate personal/national connection to them that a lot of people might think. I guess there's just so many stories to pick from that era and comparatively easy to research. With regards to non-WW1/2 songs there's actually quite a lot, a few off the top of my head: The entire 'Carolus Rex' album is all about the (military) history of the Swedish Empire and was released in both English and Swedish with a lot of the songs having different meanings in the two translations. The Winged Hussars, Counterstrike, Into the Fire, Back in Control, Reign of Terror, Sparta, Rourke's Drift (actually, quite a lot of the Last Stand album, although there are a few WW stories in there too) Panzer Battalion SOUNDS like it should be WW2 but is actually the Iraq War, and even though it would never make my Top 10 Sabaton songs I absolutely love that they made 'Light in the Black' a song dedicated to UN peacekeepers.

In some way, you could say that staying outside of both World Wars (officially anyway) gives Swedes a different viewpoint of both conflicts, in contrast to people belonging to nations that participated. Sabaton, as a Swedish band, takes on the role of the story-telling bards of old, the ones who back in the day wrote songs about warriors and their adventures.

We also had had enough of war, going to war for more than a thousand years before the two WW. Doesn’t mean we were neutral tho

Yes there are three themes that is clearly over represented in their songs, WW1, WW2 and the Swedish Empire era (30 years war to the Great Nordic war).

When it comes to chemical warfare and Sabaton, there's also the Attack of the Dead Men!

I recommend checking out the band "civil war". It consists mostly of previous Sabaton members and got a historical theme to most of their songs but usually 1600-1800 warfare. And of course the american civil war. I suggest the tracks "knights of dalecarlia" (some swedish history), Lucifers court (about Otto Rahn) and Invaders (European settlement of america from natives perspective)

Though not the main focus of the band, Iced Earth did an albumn called "The Glorious Burden." It deals with history in warfare as well.

I believe the guy who developed the atomic bomb felt extremely guilty for making the bomb. Incidentally so did the guy who made dynamite. That guy in particular was called the merchant of death

Great reaction to a great song. Sabaton has many songs about WWI because they made two albums about it. But for the next reaction, I recommend a song about the 30 years war. En livstid i krig - live from Gothenburg

My guy needs to react to the live version of "En Livstid I Krig" (there are english subtitles). One of the most emotional touching live songs I've heard Edit: Also "The Final Solution" is a very impactful song of theirs

Their latest 2 albums are about WW1 and Coat of Arms is about WW2. Other albums have some songs about world wars as well, but that’s not the concept of those albums.

Blood of bannockburn, Winged Hussars, Rorke's Drift and more has nothing with the world wars and the whole Carolus Rex albums is about the 30 years war. So mush metal history you have in front of you😀
