मैंने आज अभी सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एक फैसले के बारे में पढ़ा जिसमें विवाह के बाद व्यभिचार पर लगी रोक तो हटा लिया गया। कहा कि इस धारा में पुरुषो की अपेक्षा महिलाओं को कम अधिकार मिले हैं। अरे चले मैन लिया कम अधिकार मिले थे। तो आप बराबरी की व्यवस्था के तहत महिलाओं को भी अधिकार प्रदान करते तब तो कोई तर्क था। ये बात बस दो वयस्क व्यक्तियों की इच्छा भर की नहीं है ये एक परिवार की बात है। अगर दो वयस्को की इच्छा भर को ही माने तब तो इन्हे कौटुम्बिक व्यभिचार को भी मान्यता दे देना चाहिये। फिर वहां पे क्यों आ जाते हैं टांग अड़ाने ????? शादी बस दो लोगो का समझौता ही नहीं बल्कि एक परिवार की नींव और आने वाले बच्चो की जिंदगी की नींव होती है। पर इन पश्चिम सभ्यता के गुलाम तथाकथित प्रगतिशील लोगो तो क्या कहे जो प्रगति के नाम पर बस बिना सोचे समझो नकल भर करते हैं। इन्होने तो बिल्कुल ही छूट प्रदान कर दी जिसका जैसा मन हो वैसा करे नहीं तो तलाक लेके किनारे हट ले। अब कोई महिला चाहे तो किसी से शादी करके उसके सामने ही सरेआम व्यभिचार करे। पति कुछ नहीं बोल सकता। कोर्ट के हिसाब से उसे दिक्कत नहीं होनी चाहिये। वो भी चाहे तो खुद भी कहीं व्यभिचार में संलग्न हो जाये या फिर अपनी पत्नी को तलाक दे आधी जायदाद उसके नाम करके उससे अलग हो ले। उस औरत का क्या उसको तो ईनाम स्वरूप और आजादी मिल जायेगी और पति की आधा जायदाद तो मिल ही जायेगी क्योंकि उस छिनार के हक दिलाने खातिर कोर्ट के ये जज तैयार ही बैठे हैं।

This decision was not right...it was not based on gender discrimination...it was people's belief.. In Karnataka there is a temple where men can not go..so is this not gender discrimination?? It is based on belief..in sabrimala the deity is a bramhachary... because of that the rule was present... It is not good decision of supreme court..but I respect supreme court..

The "Mullaperiyar Dam" constructed on Periyar river in Kerala but maintained and operated by Tamil Nadu is the reason behind the conflict between the two states

Mullaperiyar dam is distiputed b/w Tamilnadu and Kerela and it is operated and maintained by Tamilnadu

Feminism is good till it doesn't encroaches upon other rights( In this case rights to essential religious practices). There are other temples exclusively open for women. So would it be open to men now? as it takes the rights of men away... Totally agree with Justice Indu Malhotra ji observation.

Mullapriyar dam on periyar, the largest river of kerala. The is very old, was built when TN had name of MADRASS PRESIDENCY .It is in kerala but administrative control is vested in T. N. It was given on lease to T. N since it's inception in1980s. Also a movie on it DAM999

I tell you what happened in the 5 judge constitution bench of Sabarimala. All the 4 judges who gave verdict for women entry are men. They instead of taking a view of common sense, are kind of compelled to give the verdict for women entry. Bcz they are implicitly pressured from within their conscience to stand as an example of men, who endorse women equality at all costs and stand by it in practice. Also there is pressure of what if they are considered as conservative patriarchal if they don't take a stand for women. Where as Justice Indu Malhotra, the only woman Judge in the bench, on contrary, though a staunch activist of higher class even before she became a Judge, took a stand which endorses common sense and not reading too much in between the lines. Rather than she trying to interpret it as gender discrimination, her thoughts were around how "When the concept of the Deity itself is a just belief not having any sound ground and mythical and people are following it as just traditional values, asking for scientific reason for banning women of certain age and seeking logic and rights is non sense". See the big misconception around this is, difference between God and Deity. This is not same concept of GOD like in Abrahamic religions, Allah or Jesus. This is the concept of Deity, in Hinduism. It's like an individual, incarnation in human form or whatever. Thats why we managed to have billion deities and going for more. If humans put rules we like "We wont allow women into all Temples" then it's a different story. But here it looks like the Deity's own virtue is "Celibacy". Now regarding Deity Ayyappa-Do we surely know did he want to meet women of menstruating age or not? So who created Ayyappa? Is he a real person who existed some time or it's a mythical character? Either way now there are logically only 2 options like black and white, without Greys. 1. If you believe that there existed a Deity called "Ayyappa" (real or mythical), you are compelled to accept and believe the story behind his character and virtues like celibacy and all that and respect his rules and stay away as he wishes. Or 2. You don't believe, banish him as a patriarchal or discriminatory Deity and don't go to him. Lets create our own woman deity and have our own temple in a nice place and banish all men from entering there by creating a story. How difficult it is? You can't say, I believe in Ayyappa but I don't buy this story around him and want to pray him by encroaching into his celibacy. There is no logic/reason/proof in the belief system. That's why it's called "Belief" and not "Reality/Fact". Also the VAVAR mosque is a part of SABARIMALA pilgrimage. Are women allowed there too now?

Sabrimala case was never a issue of gender discrimination but a faith of complete celibacy diety follows why which women of reproductive character were disallowed. Some ppl gave it color of mentrual cycle of women of 10-50 years which is not correct. Dont know why SC didnt include diety as person under art. 25. Also many ppl tried to gave it color of art 14, which is not a case here. There are many temples strictly made for women. and many for everybody. This specific temple and diety has got distinct culture which as per me should come under art 21( just a personal though may be incorrect). Also, many unaware ppl without knowing the case background are celebrating the decision.

sabarimala temple is not like other temples ... majority women in Kerala will not go to sabarimala even after this verdict because they really respect and value the story behind the lord Ayyappa and they won't hurt the lord's feelings. true devotees will wait to see Ayyappa . I have gone there when I was very young . really not happy with SC verdict .. we are in 21st century where the slogan is equality but there are something which needs to be preserved with out any change

He is correct as you have to accept brahmachri to enter the temple. Because of mother nature a women can't be pure for 41 day as she faces menstruation cycle. So according to the puran it is described that women can't be entered in the temple premises. There are lakhs of views in your video and millions of people watch you correct your knowledge

@@jitendrasaini2232 there are many rituals and temples which can performed/ visited only by women.. just like women r not allowed in many mosques for namaz or a women can't be church father... Plus this is belief that lord Ayapan was Brahmancharya and women aged 12-60yrs (menstruation cycle year) are not allowed.. that's it.. even the many petitioners are non-hindu/atheist like Rehana Fatima etc, and who don't believe in God.. even local women protested against it!

1. Lord Ayyappa is not a “man” but a deity. 2. Lord Hanuman is also celibate (Brahamcharya) but women (all ages) are allowed in his temple then why there is issue with this particular deity.

@@manishmohit3726 because lord ayyappa clearly said that women are too powerful for him to handle. He can loose his celibity by seeing them. Lord Ayappa said this. Lord Hanuman didn't. So from this you can understand that we are not discriminating but fulfilling the wishes of the gods.

Agreed with Justic Malhotra. If so then SC should be entertained by the issues with all religious community which also violates the Article 14 to 18.

I agree with the female judge,because temple administration is not against the women entry,only they want to maintain the rules of the temple.Neither temple is doing any wrong practices nor they completely ban the women entry,they only want to maintain the rules,for this they want every devotee to follow the rules.

If the main point of restriction into temple is only and only mestruating age......then every temple in India was already became impured....no God in any religion was talking about bodily nature they only preach about holy person in you...this is a clear example of our patriarchal priest society.....no one is noticing that before 1965 every human being was able to entre the temple....the only person who interfered it was the Travencore devalay society....why you are not getting this

@@1radhamadhav In pre 1990 days women of menstrual age used to enter sabarimala at off season time. So what we can do now is to restrict entry only during Mandalakalam and allowing entry during other times which was done before 1990. This will be the only valid solution

@@san.deep_s I dont really know what used to happen in early 90s.... but since ayyappa has taken naistika bramhacarya, restrictions of women with reproductive capability is valid..Besides there is a tradition of Devaprashna to determine whether the traditon can be changed or not..... I think that DevaPrasnam has already been invoked and no change to current tradition has been recommended... so i dont think there needs to be any change

Mulla periyar dam.... It is located in kerala but it's adminstration is in the hands of tamilnadu (999 years lease) although dam's life is over but it is not demolished or reconstructed because of this administration dispute

but people of india do not have 'guts to say Women must allowed in every holy place of every religion', still women are not allowed in many mosque like jama mosque in delhi and if any sc give any decision aganst it he must be killed and his wife and daughter would be rape by 20 incent people. this is secularism and security of our country.
