Disconnect the battery before you remove airbags.

Can the back of the CIM be taken off to try and give it a clean inside?

Hi...my high /low beam switch does not stay on high position.Is that a mechanical or electric fault and is is reparable by removing the CIM?Thank you.

hello..my car resist to start sometimes...when i take the cim you think its goes good?

Is this part plug and play or does it require programming? Issue is "Stability control failure. Contact service" and several forums suggest this component. Can donor part be used or have to be new? Mine is 2007, but have a 2008 parts car (blown motor) that I occasionally scavenge interior/electrical parts

Cant get the face off the steering wheel. I have a Saab 9-3 03 and it doesn't seem to have the clips that this Saab does? The rest looks like a breeze. Any help on that? Please and thank you.

It actually could be more useful. How about size of star bit he used to remove steering wheel not to mention details on how to move tool he used to remove steering wheel cover etc.

You can, but it will need to be programmed after you add it.

Yes. It is inside the steeringwheels center. The first thing he removes with the saab brand on it. Don't forget to disconnect the battery cable before starting☺

You do something with something behind the steering wheel. Something pops off. No comments except a short laugh when this happens. Not an ideal way to communicate.

Yes keys must be programmed
