Always liked the look of those Saabs, especially the estate. There is always a reason for the DPF blockage, most people would just chalked it down to the low millage or lack of use, clean it and be on their merry way. But you know better, great job hearing that boost leak on your test drive, that shows your experience, attention to detail and skills right there. Fair play, another great video Jimmy 👌

Just watched a video of the turnip down southwest (chops garage) trying to diagnose a dpf problem and reading the comments posted. I think he might be giving you a bell Jimmy cos they ain’t got a clue.

best option is to do a stage 2, free hp and no egr dpf problems

I rinsed my Saab 9-5 2008 with soap and hot water and it has been fine for 6 years now. Boost hose i got from Ebay for 35 Euro.

Once upon a time, Saab were great cars to own and drive. When GM took them over it was the beginning of the end. It's sad what happened to Saab. But that's capitalism...

Most reliable engine saab made...but adding dpf ..it's built to fail....

That's bit low for diesel car 2000 miles year most do 500 per week

'Most do 500 a week' ,no chance. The average I used to see when I used to MOT it was around 8k a year or around 200 a week .

Mine does 10,000 a year and regens roughly every 400 miles.

Why have a diesel for 2000 miles per year?

It wasn't the low miles that caused the dpf issues after all as it was the split boost hose
