Everythinh seems to be ok .But when a pure EV with more range ie 600 kms comes will this technology wll be long last ? At present this may be a solution to high petrol price .But maintaining this vehicle is costly compared to an electric or conventional vehicle . Price is also on the high side .In future battereries will be more efficient and less costly . Hope this technology will survive .Last but not the least , simple and lucid explanation .

That will be decades ahead. The Kia EV6 has the range you mention but it is 70lakhs! Hybrids will be more affordable than long range EVs for a while
