In the last 3 months alone, Israel has had to endure 13,000 rocket attacks and 2,600 terror attacks. Prior to this, they had to put up with 2,000 terror attacks every year and 500 rocket attacks every day, and the people of Israel are sick and tired of having to spend half their lives stuck in bomb shelters. Israel wants to live in peace, but they cannot do this without eliminating the Islamic terror organisations that want to destroy Israel. They are being attacked by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Islamic State and the Houthis, and and are enduring attacks from SIX countries. On top of that, these terror organisations are receiving training, funding and weapons provided by Iran, China, North Korea, South Africa and Russia, as well as money given to them by charities which is meant to be sent to civilians but which is confiscated and misused by Hamas. The casualty/ death statistics in Gaza are compiled by the Palestinian Health Ministry, which is run by Hamas. A terrorist organisation is not a credible source of information, and these numbers haven’t been independently verified and they don’t distinguish between civilians and terrorists. At least 1000 rockets fired by Hamas landed in their own territory, and Hamas have gunned down civilians who were attempting to obtain aid from the IDF troops. Israel did not start this war and even if the stats are correct, it is still the lowest soldier to civilian ratio rate. The Syrian Civil War resulted in 250, 000 deaths, the Yemeni civil war resulted in 150,000 deaths, the Tigray War in Ethiopia has killed 80,000 people and 2 million people have been killed in warfare in Sudan. In fact, every significant war in the middle east and Africa have had a much higher death toll than the Hamas war, including the Iraq-Iran War with an estimated 500,000 to 2 million deaths, and the Congo War which has been blamed for 6 million deaths since 1996. The ratio of soldier to civilian deaths in Gaza is 1.5:1 - the lowest casualty rate ever recorded in history. The UN estimates the global average to be an astonishing 9:1. This is especially impressive since Hamas places its infrastructure, launch pads, bunkers and ammunitions in densely populated areas and near hospitals and schools.

To some extent. I think she could have spoken more defiantly. She is being polite and trying to balance both sides. But what she does not know is that oppressors and oppressed are two different situations, and there is a lack of balance that causes that situation. Therefore, we have to put an extra effort in order to change the situation

Guys, you must understand the verdict of the court. The court only said that Isreal should allow the aid to Palestinian. As usual, the Palestinians dismiss the UN when it doesn't act according to their demands. In 1948 they dismissed the partition plan. In 2023 they are dismissing their demands to Hamas to release hostages. Typical.

The ICJ RULES in favor of RSA. The court will uphold the RSA filing & investigate the matter (meaning it has merits) accord'ly. In exercising the order, there'll have to be a CEASEFIRE or Israel will run counter to the ruling. A huge win (landmark) for RSA & Israel MUST abide. Thank you South Africa

As an American with Middle Eastern family members and my grandfather came to America from Yemen my grandmother is from Sudan her family are ethnic Somali. My mother's mother is Syrian and my mother's father is scottish. As a woman who is 35 years old that lives in America born in America this really makes me so happy to see that South Africa is doing something that even my own country refused to do. The country that I'm from that I'm supposed to love that I'm told is one of the best countries in the entire world is funding the genocide of millions of palestinians. Funding the deaths of tons of thousands of those people. South Africa did something that no one in the world would do and that is hold Israel accountable. Israel has been able to do what they want whenever theywant and use world war II as an excuse for their bad behavior saying well you're going to criticize me doing this bad thing to this person it's just because you don't like my religion you don't like anybody that follows my religion and he has nothing to do with religion and has everything to do with your behavior. And South Africa is the only country in this entire world that had enough strength and courage and character to stand up to Israel and say what you were doing is wrong and we are not going to sit here and let you ethnically cleansed the Palestinians we are going to do something! Thank you South Africa thank you to the people for their support of the Palestinian people and thank you to the politicians and everybody else in South Africa who went through apartheid who has gone through what the Palestinians are going through and some type of way and coming out on the other side as stronger and better because of what they've been through.
