Literally every city fire department has a tanker... Like Ocean said, there are spots with no hydrants, and if a hydrant has all it's ends connected to hoses, and there's other engines, the tanker trucks are the next go to solution.

There is even cities with extremely bad political and official leadership that are filled with dead hydrants. (Gary Indiana, Detroit Michigan come to mind immediately) definitely a need for tankers even if they arent used as often.

Eh, consistency has really gone by the wayside in SA'F. Nothing I can really do about it myself, I'm just a member. But it does bother me that the state cars have the silhouette of Tennessee on the side of the car, and there's a lot of British style vehicles in there, when we are supposed to be a state based in the USA. Granted, we have a lot of UK and European members, but just the same, I wish the community held the same standards it used to on its overall appearance and consistency.

Sonoran is the more cost effective route, SCN Just for a yearly play costs $250. But if they have the money it is a amazing radio and it is about 95% accurate to a IRL Trunked system.
