I agree, Xscape is the best project we've got after 2009. But I also enjoyed very much Bad 25, surely the concert wasn't HD as expected but I will always prefer content quality over visual quality and any Bad concert is a pure gem!

The Victory and Bad tours were by far his best tours in my opinion, he was on top form!

I love Xscape so much. The problem they made was with the singles. For me, they should've worked harder in those. Firstly the cover is the same with the album and it didn't included any unreleased materials. The second and big problem is they made a huge marketing fail in release of A Place With No Name. I remember they were releazing the video in twitter but no one could've watched it properly. Also It was more like a Jeep commerial than a music video. For me they should've made single for Slave To The Rhytm with including both versions maybe another remix or insturmental version.

J'adore la jaquette de cet album ! Je l'ai en cd et vinyl et c'est sublime. Les titres sont très bons, surtout sur les versions normales non retouchées. Content d'avoir enfin ton avis sur cet album.

Finally !!! Thank u !! Sooo many fans bitch and moan about this album or anything the estate does , but this full album of brand new Michael songs was a gift ! 7 years later and not another new song or full album since ... be grateful for what u get MJ fans I know I was and still am

Thanks so much for the great show again!!✨💖✨ Yes, I totally agree with you. For me, BAD25 and Xscape was really great project they did. And I want to say, those was the most “creative” era the estate made than today.. I was really excited to got Xscape album at Tower Records on the release date... as a fan this generation, I remember I was so happy to get this “New album” in 2014!!✨

Great video and with very interesting and useful information about the worldwide editions of Xscape! However, I must say that I miss a golden edition of the album on vinyl including the demos, what a pity the estate did not release it and we only have a silver version on vinyl with no demos. J'aime aussi beaucoup l'ensemble des 8 titres originaux. Ils n'ont pas de cohérence entre eux, mais peu importe, ces disques posthumes sont des compiles après tout, donc pourquoi pas ratisser large ! L'Estate a fait bien des bourdes, mais là, même si ils ont préféré mettre les remix en avant pour la promo, au moins, on a eu les originaux, et de bons choix.

Me encantó tu video Héctor, solo me da depresión saber que toda tu colección entraría en mi casa (y faltaría espacio)

Merci pour cette super vidéo. Je me posais justement la question cette semaine de ce que tu pensais des albums posthumes et si tu les collectionnais, excellent timing! J’avais l’édition européenne or et je la revends. J’ai acheté récemment (presque) toute la série japonaise que tu présentes à la fin. Par contre aujourd’hui c’est la réédition de 2018 qui est dispo en neuf pour les albums de MJ (ceux des Jacksons sont toujours dispo sauf 2300 Jackson Street).

Curious fact, in Mexico the standard edition of the album was not sold, only the deluxe version was circulated, it seems that everything was due to the fact that the market only wanted to market the deluxe version. I also add that the digipack version was not sold on this side either. in the world, only the deluxe boxed edition.

Yay someones finally talking about Xacape. Hologram could’ve been better if they had someone else dancing lol concept was cool & it was all over news everywhere. They made a big mistake when they kinda gave up on the album after the second single. Album Could’ve done much better. One thing i’ll never understand is fans hating on remixes... HAVE YOU ALL HEARD THRILLER 25 REMIXES!? Xscape ones are million times better 🤣 Anyway, always loved Xscape (except Do You Know Where Your Children Are remix 👀).

This is my favorite album after 2001 Invincible. Cous Xscape 💯 MJ

Quand tu penses que l'année prochaine ça fera 10 ans que l'album Xscape est sortit... 10 ans sans nouvelles chansons inédites de Michael 😢

Salut Hector , Ce n’est que ce soir que j’ai écouté attentivement xscape (😂vaut mieux tard que jamais hein) et bien, c’est une sacrée bonne surprise. Rien à jeter . Chicago, loving you, slave to the rythm… franchement , des bangers . Je suis heureux 🙃😂😂 franchement , c’est un super projet et il est quali. De fou. J’aurais préféré que Michael bosse sur un album que faire cette maudite tournée . Je conseille à la communauté d’accorder du temps à cet album. Et j’étais très sceptique depuis sa sortie . Ça m’a mis quasiment 10 ans pour vouloir l’écouter 😂

Just a quick question - why didn't you like the Slave To The Rhythm hologram? Okay so it didn't really look like MJ (maybe MJ from around 30 years ago) but the stage concept was cool and it was a good idea perhaps poorly implemented. Is it because it was so obviously an impersonator or too much CGI?

A fantastic album, collecte em' when I see a new one , already have 18 into my coll. incl. the japanese ones with the card inside.. There was made a 2nd press of the japanese cards where the cards was made a little more darker whan 1st pressing. Don't know it this darker ones of "JP"was a faker or so ? How for the Australia and New Zealand ones did the make some from overseas ?

Invincible = Unbreakable, Break of Dawn, Butterflies, Threatened, 2000 Watts, Walk Away. Yes please.

Xscape was amazing! I remember my 13 years old self pre-ordering it at a local record shop. Also we had a big event here in Athens,GR for the album with a memorabilia exhibition. Let's hope that they'll release new material soon.

J'adore Xscape perso.

t'as vu qu'il y a un logo Warner sur le Russe dans ta video!? Bon moi moi j'en ai qu'un: le Gold Australien :) et le vinyl EU. J'aime beaucoup cet album mais contrairement à beaucoup je déteste Slave to the rhythm et la saute à chaque fois (version remixée ou originale)!

Quand j'ai découvert "Xscape", je l'ai de suite adoré et je n'ai jamais vraiment compris pourquoi à l'époque les fans l'avaient tant décrié (perso, je le trouve bien meilleur que "Blood on the Dance Floor" ou "Michael"). Je suis un peu surpris que tu n'es pas mentionné "Lovin' You" qui est une chanson vraiment agréable. Par contre je te félicite car moi qui suis très "Japon", je ne connaissais pas du tout cette collection de Blue Spec qui est absolument superbe !! Tu peux vraiment remercier ton ami japonais.....ah qu'est-ce que j'aimerais avoir un ami japonais, ne serait-ce que pour les figurines ou des soundtracks d'animés !! ^^

pour moi aussi la meilleure sortie post mortem reste BAD 25 très critiquée à l'époque ,après Xcape ça reste bien mais sans plus ,après chacun son avis ,il est qu'avec cette période de disette on va presque aimer l'album MICHAEL .....j''èspère que non !

@@HectorBarjot je l'adore personnellement surtout la verison originale... Mais bon chacun ses goûts. À vrai dire quand on écoute du MJ pendant longtemps on a des "periodes", dans 4/5 ans tu l'aimeras qui sait 🤷‍♂️ Bonne video sinon Hector comme d'hab 💪

Pour moi les meilleurs projet était "Immortal, Bad 25 et oui Xscape" je les trouve très réussi hormis les version remixer des chanson de l'album Xscape certain passe vraiment mais d'autre c'est un massacre.

Mais je lis les commentaires et je ne comprends personne, Xscape etait nul! Seul la version deluxe/gold etait bonne avec les demos originales non remixes. Et a part ca, Bad 25 etait bien meilleur avec son contenu plus rempli (il faut se rappeller qu'on a eu bien plus qu'un disque) et surtout les inedits (meme si ils sont tous de la periode Bad) Non ce qui'l nous faut c'est un vrai album inedit d'au moins une vingtaine de morceaux avec un vrai marketing (digne de Bad ou Dangerous) et LA on aura un vrai disque.

Xscape was the second fiasco album in the name of Michael. We already had the songs before Xscape. Such a waste of money for a John Branca and Timbaland production for meshing the original tracks, music and art of Michael. They could just release the original songs than promoting fake holograms and not even a proper photo of Michael in the cover. Such a disaster. So happy Michael left nothing new to Sony. They already have enough of the classics.

I get what you’re saying. But I am glad that gems like Loving You (the demo version of course) are now in the world.. though I do feel upset with each posthumous release because they were unreleased for a reason, and the man himself doesn’t have a say in what is now being added to his discography. So I’m guessing you take the stance of not wanting Sony to release any more posthumous albums? Edit: Just saw you state that you only want the demos as releases. Completely agree, they need to stop remixing and altering the raw demos. I don’t know why they don’t realize that most fans are only listening to the demos anyway.

Je serais d’accord si Invincible avait été purgé de ses titres les plus malaisants. Cet album ne fait que trahir à quel point Michael n’avait plus rien du souffle créatif qui l’animait encore quelques années avant. Et c’est d’un looooong ! Xscape a une excuse : Michael n’était plus présent pour superviser.

@@jerrieljiji2321 personnellement je trouve qu'History devient malaisant à partir de Money... mauvais choix de morceau... quand tu penses qu'il a laissé de côté Is it scary, Blood, ghosts... pour mettre Come Together, 2Bad, smile... Même Money est pas du tout à la hauteur.

Je pense tout pareil. Pour moi il n’y a aucune fausse note jusqu’à Dangerous. A partir d’History, ça commence à se gâter. Sur History le très bon côtoie le trop bof pour que ce soit suffisamment convaincant. Dangerous est à mon sens son chant du cygne.
