As a child I used to shine my Dad's shoes. He was a hard working gentleman and made his shoes last so we could have new ones. 🌞 It taught me to take care of my shoes as well. I loved the smells of the polishes ,oils and wax. 😌

I agree minus the best shoe shiner. Some people win championships in this stuff. This guy is amazing and does by far the best job in the world for 2usd. I think that's insane. And I feel like anyone that works as hard as these people with the passion and eliteness that they have. Should make more money and be able to go wherever they want!!

@@Nani-Afinarte13 it’s part of it but it’s also a respect thing. It’s like humbling and being as thorough as possible. I had mine done at a fancy place in New York City. The gentlemen was a tailor and also polished shoes. He cleaned the bottom as well and I told him he didn’t have to do that because it would just get dirty. He told me the restaurant gives napkins that they know you won’t use and throw away or extra condiments. It’s about respect and being thorough. I saw all jobs differently after that. Always be thorough to a fault. Good business. Can’t go wrong
