Love how when String and Dom rise from the smoke the music switches from the cheesy S4 theme to the awesome S1 theme. It's about to get serious! No one can beat String and Dom in the Lady :)

String and Dom always were the TRUE Airwolf pilots!

The shot at 2:40 is one of the best from the entire series, Airwolf rising from behind that dune is just majestic!

Season 4 was low budget, they used a lot of footage from the previous seasons, and the acting was terrible. So yeah, season 4 didn't happen.

They also used unused footage which made some stuff a bit new but they had no chopper at all, they even recycled some footage from the Airwolf vs Redwolf stuff. There is many scenes where you can see there is absolutely nothing at all just the actors who pretends there is something while there was nothing at all. They also changed the cockpit arrangement too ...

String and Dom are the only 2 who could fly Airwolf I remember shutting this off when they changed the cast!

Hawke and Dom kick Barrys ass they are the proper and the best Airwolf!

I enjoyed the episode where Moffett's virus aka Moffett's Ghost took over Airwolf and the only way to stop the virus was to take her to 80,000ft I remember how their ash grey uniform and helmet turned white due to the ice build up Ahhhh great memories should never be tampered with lol; :3

Know how that was done? A dry shampoo called "Psssssst." The idea was to spray it in your hair, wait a few minutes, then run your fingers through to shake it out. It was okay, but not great and your hair felt like straw.

That's from the pilot, the introduction movie, when String and Dom take Moffet down. I just watched it again, it's still stunning.

I really like how the music started out with S4, then as soon as Hawke and Dom hover in the smoke the music is back to the bad ass S1!

Thanks for doing what so many of us have longed to do for twenty something years.

Other than you having Dom kill his niece, pretty good. The funny thing about Airwolf is, String was recruited because he was the only one capable of flying it other than the original crew. But then Dom learned, and then Dom's niece, and St. John (still trying to figure how the pronunciation leap on that name) was able to fly it without any training. And then the Major they get to join the team and "The Company" guy even flew it. Did they teach Kate to fly it too? What was the flipping point of String was the only one who could fly it. I know Airwolf cannot be held responsible for S4. But damn, I could write better fanfiction than S4.

And the true well deserved AIRWOLF Pilots win, against the battle between the wolfs.

Love the video and I also agree with kmcguire76 I love how music changed and that's how you know it's about to go down!But some of the reasons why I didn't like season 4 is they killed off Dom they got rid of string and they added new people but most of all they took Airwolf's howl away and made The Lady sound like a normal Helicopter.

Season one to three were the best.

While I realize the Apache is real and is a bad mofo, and that Airwolf is just a show., when I see that bell 222 come up from below the sand dune, it instills more of the "uh oh" than the Apache does.

As for 04:05-04:14, I can only say that the "canonical" crew of the Airwolf (Stringfellow Hawk - Dominic Santini), could not fight against Dominic's niece and brother Hawke. For in the first episode of the fourth season of the series, Dominic Santini dies. And his niece is alive and well throughout the fourth season, and plays a pretty important role in its events. So, you can breathe easy.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Most Airwolf fans don't acknowledge Season 4 as canon and largely ignored it. I only bought the first 3 seasons on DVD -- I would never pay for a season that's basically fan fiction with nothing but recycled flight scenes from the previous seasons. USA Network shouldn't have made it unless they were willing to give it the budget required.

When String puts the visor down, you know somebody is about to get their ass kicked!

Loving this Video a lot but I know it was hard for dom to see his niece get blown to bit. But like people said I love how it starts off with S4 music and then the greatest most bad ass music ever S1 and the world famous hover.

Season 4 was made under a very short budget, because of that all the scenes with AirWolf are recycled from previous years.

Season 4 was filmed on the cheap and it showed. Any aviation series should be done with real aircraft where it's safe to do so. Reusing the old film like they did made the final season look cheap, poorly made and it's continuity sucked as a result. I have no doubt the actors did their best with what they had. If the series producers couldn't produce a decent set up then they should have called it quits. It was unfortunate that JMV had drug problems, you can't just say " Get clean or you're out" when it's those drugs that have kept him going and become his props through the past 3 seasons. He should have been taken aside and told "We know about the drug taking, don't insult us by denying it. If you want to get clean, we will refer you for drug counselling if not then we will have to suspend you pending disciplinary action. " It means the same but is a bit more humane.

We need a new Airwolf movie! We all know that Hawk and Dom can’t be there but perhaps Catlin could be in there as a government agent. Season 4 never turned me on.

This was airwolf " the lady" , it rising from the sand. Howling and kills you when necessary! Support by an young and old man! That are friends for life!

Only thing I enjoyed from Season 4 was the theme music change. Only "good" episode from season four was the one entitled " the Golden One " the end battle scene was good...with what they had to work with.

S4 needed an Ahnold cameo: "Get to the choppah!"

Airwolf was never the same after string and Dom left the show it was alright but I didn't care for it as much.

Jan Michael Vincent fell on his own sword so too speak when season 4 was commissioned by a new channel Jan Michael Vincent was given a huge pay increase over the summer of 1987 Vincent's alcohol and drug problems got worse and he was in no condition to start work, a new cast was brought in, to save the show but it flopped big time, Such a shame because Airwolf was a huge show and could have went on for several more seasons.

There were scenes from the Pilot, from Red Wolf, from Mind of the Machine, and some S4 stuff... although I'm sure that 90% or more of the S4 flying scenes were just reused footage from S1-S3. (There are enough articles and videos about how little they got to use the real Airwolf in S4.) I'm not a S4 fanboy by any stretch, but I have to question the premise here... String and Dom shooting down Jo seems weird... and vice versa. Then again, at least it wasn't St. John footage being used... that would have been REALLY twisted.
