This week's audio story takes us back to the classic days of the first series and for those that have seen 'North Western Beginning', this is a follow-up you don't want to miss.
A newly arrived Thomas worries about settling on the Fat Controller's Railway after an argument with the bigger engines. Luckily, Edward is there to support him and tells him about some engines who inspired him...
This video can be enjoyed by any generation of 'Thomas & Friends' fan. I also want to give some thanks for the support of the series and I promise, there are plenty more stories to come...

Now this is an incredible episode. We see a new version of Thomas arriving on Sodor. Plus Edward talks about two other engines that were originally on the railway. Well done for writing this one.
Bloomer is kind of like the Thomas equivalent to Old Puffer Pete from Chuggington

Wasn't expecting to see Bloomer and hearing who the portrait was of in that one scene in Thomas in Trouble. Really enjoyed this.
Wow, what a wonderful prequel of when Thomas came to Sodor, in the model era! Certainly love the callbacks to engines never touched on in the books, also interesting to have Thomas in green paint just like in The Adventure Begins.
Thats is a great flashblack story to start the Railway Series & the Classic Orignal Series 1984 to 2003 Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends.

This was a great story man. I was surprised to see Bloomer here but I was even more surprised to see that you'd used Ernest as a character that only appeared in a portrait for crying out loud. Also this is a good middle story after Northwestern Railways Beginning and before James' Beginning. Keep up the good work man!
Wow, i would've never thought that Bloomer and Earnest were the engines that taught Edward everything they know and look at him now a wise sage. Edward was once an Express engine (being a 4-4-0) was once like Gordon, but as time went in he was reolaced and given less jobs as an utility engine. What's ya'll take?

The story is nice, but it bugs me the whole way through with this: Charles inherited the line between 1954 - 1983 Sir Topham hatt had opened the railway (I believe)

this episode takes palce between North Western Beggining and James' beggining and during TAB from 2015. also: i love how you indirectly mentioned a tender engine whom we guys were supposed to guess. it's James. even though he had been brought to NWR before Thomas.

A sweet retelling of The Adventure Begins.
It would be nice if Ernest could have a model made in Trainz. Maybe with a face pack with and without his mustache and perhaps an option to include a cab.

Thomas & Edward are my 2 favourites when I was growing up
I think I just realised what Sodor actually is... It's a train's version of Heaven... think about it... a lot of those engines don't exist anymore... Thomas Edward James Toby all the engines' basis' no longer exist

It's probably good Bloomer and Ernest left the North Western Railway because otherwise Henry and Gordon probably would bag them without ceasing
That was a great sequel to North Western Beginning and I would love to see those two characters to return ton Season 5.

LBSC 70 was a Brighton Terrier. The E2 class was numbered 100-109.

@@chavopatyfanstudios2005 The LBSCR seldom renumbered its engines, apart from renumbering older engines in the 6xx block. This became 26xx in Southern Railway days and 326xx after Nationalisation. 670 was 70 originally.
