Hi, I'm BOI and now live in Austin. Back in the 80's my friend had a small JohnBoat and we would fish inside Sweetwater Lake. There was a shallow inlet that was no problem for the JohnBoat....I was wondering if Sweetwater is still accessible? If so, do you ever go there? We would clean up on slot reds... New to your videos and enjoy them. I have been interested in the H-13 Skiff. I retire in 2.5yrs and want to move back down towards Galveston...keep up the great work. Jack Buxton

Brought my kayak down to Galveston area from Kansas to fish the marshes for the first time. Had a blast and caught some fish. The wind was definitely an issue and felt like that beach ball you mentioned. Thanks for the videos

Beautiful set up man 👍👍👍👍 for a push poll I highly recommend the [ Super stick ] It stores as a 9' Pole and and extends to a 17' Pole look it up that's what I use a highly recommended.

Ditto on the superstick, broke the latch on mine after about a year or so, called the phone # I had, and the owner actually answered. He was on vacation with his family, and took the time to help me out. I have USED and ABUSED this thing, and use it as an anchor pole on my NMZ trolling motor mount. I have a paddle like yours mounted on my port side and the stiffy on my starboard, mounted on top of the narrow gunnel. Makes these rigs a shallow water fishing machine, troller, double paddle and push pole anchor. I'll buy another stiffy when this one gives up the ghost. I know ull enjoy that sweet rig brother.

I think people like a little variety in their diet...I use my Soloskiff 75% of the time but I still get down with my Hobie when it's time to grind some local back lakes

If its possible to mount, I suggest getting a pt35 tilt and trim. It looks like a PITA to get to the tilt function.

Fishing off the tower can be good and bad sometimes. From my experience on my flats boat the hookup is much better fishing on the tower but when the fish gets close to the boat they can get off. I assume it's all about the angles.

I love your hskiff! I’ve wanted one for awhile but with almost the same options I can’t gather up the almost 15,000 for it... I did pick up a used bote rover gator shell outfitted out though and it gets me around pretty good. Tight lines

I keep my center of gravity over the middle. Move it over to the sides and I’m sure you’ll lose balance. It’s just common sense. This isn’t a full size skiff but it’s pretty stable for the small size.

Yes, I’m working on a possible solution for linking directly to the lures. It’s the reason why I tried give all the information about the lure.

You need to invent you a pole holder out of pvc pipe waist high on one side of the from platform and another pole holder on the other side to for your push pole or kayak paddle, while you’re standing up there , that way everything is at your waste high reach you want have to step down all the time for the paddle/push pole, hopefully you get my idea
