Wow, when u said the Bible is enough I felt my spirit just like take a deep breath and relax. Like I just needed that reminder bc I feel like I have always been thinking I have to do everything, worship music, podcasts and sermons when we just need the Word! I was shocked, I didn't think I would have time for the reading this morning, I just grabbed my Bible and and it opened to the book of Luke. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮. I am struggling to wait on God for something and He pointed out to me verses like: The word of GOD never fails( Luke 1:37) and He pointed out the parts where it says wait expectantly. Thank you Jesus. You deserve all the praise, Honor and Glory.

The funny thing y’all I have recently started Luke too! When I as reading through the big list of Jesus ancestors Jesus put it on my heart and gave me wisdom because I truly did not understand the importance behind it but as I read through it and got to the last verse it pointed back to God. We have had all of these people who came into existence because of God. No matter where we are in life we always want to point ourselves back to God. The cool thing about scripture as y’all know is that it’s living and breathing so it could have spoken to some of y’all in a completely different way but that’s what the Lord spoke to me. Bless all of you!

Whether we are Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant let us all imitate you in your faithful, bold, and loving “yes” to God’s calling. This was a wonderful thing to have come up on my recommended, a perfect follow up for the daily Mass I just got back from. The theme of the homily today was “we’re all in this together. In the joyful moments and in the painful ones”. Being members of the body of Christ, we gather together in support and council in times of need. Likewise, as this video of Scripture makes clear “No word of the Lord goes unfulfilled” and “your prayers have been heard”. He hears us, He sees us. He poured out his Blood for us, individually and as a whole. He’s glorified in all our good, bad, and ugly. Glory be to God who never, NEVER abandons His beloved flock! Likewise, a small meditation that I had while praying my rosary today. Putting it here in case a brother or sister needs it. Christ is there in our desolation. Christ is there in our loneliness. When all of man turns away from us, when we feel crushed with nowhere to go, He is there. He experienced all of these things Himself while on Earth. His Sacred Heart is bleeding for all of humanity. That Blood is mercy, grace, and life itself and it is poured out to those who turn to Him. Not only is He present in our trials, but He embraces us. His hand covers us even when we feel most exposed to the world. All of our pain he bore in the garden all the way to the cross, where He overcame them and opened the gates of eternal life back up so that we could be united to Him. As we go through the pains and trials of this life, recall His wounds, recall is desolation during the agony in the garden, recall His cry on the Cross. Join your suffering to His, abandon yourself to the Father as He did (“but not my will but yours be done”!), and find rest at the feet of the good Shepard. God bless you all! Gloria Rex!

I usually listen to the podcast while I am at work and God always speaks to me through you ever since you started with your testimony and today was not different I was able to watch the episode have my bible ( I have your same bible, twinsies!) and my notebook and learn to speak scripture! I have been so busy lately struggling to make time for god and so I seen you pod and it being called “spending time with Jesus” I thought it was gonna be a whole speech on how to make time for god and stuff when really it was just a simple study on the book of Luke. god really was telling me there’s not much to it just read or learn about him and don’t stress over it.

Y'all I searched the line of Jesus for God's little hints and he came through!!! 3 times Joseph is named and 14 times names with el, meaning God, showed up (including God's name) 7 × 2 = 14 !!! I'm so happy I found these and there is probably more that I didn't find.

You should look up the meaning of the names mentioned in any genealogy in the Bible, most of their names reveal things about God's character, the way the person who named the child felt when receiving them, or more about the actual person being named.

32:19 credit where credit is due because I didn't get most of those names right

Jesus is not in the scriptures, the Lord is Spirit, like the scriptures testify. dont rely on your own understanding. did you get the promised Spirit when you came to faith. yes God teaches you, not you through the scripture text. letter/text makes dead, only Spirit makes alive. and your flesh (yourself) is of no benefit, only Spirit makes alive. yes God gives all wisdom for free.
