S3 EP23 Embracing Your Unique Grief Journey: Letting Go Of Comparisons To Widows

Have you ever found yourself comparing your grief journey to others? You’re not alone.
Many widows may compare their unique grief journey to others at some point but this can take a toll on your personal well-being.
Join me as we discuss finding your own way through grief and releasing the need to compare yourself with others who are grieving too.
Listen as I talk about:
• The common tendency among widows to compare their grief journeys
• Finding meaning and fulfilment in life rather than comparing oneself to others
• Practicing self-compassion and grounding oneself in the present moment
• The underestimated impact of grief on your daily life
• How grief can shape your personality, priorities, energy and identity

when you are older you don't have the advantage of time, but still can't rush these things. So true, we grieve the person we was married to him

I see and hear you. My second year has been such a challenge. Maybe I was in shock the first year. But this second year has left me in the struggle of my life. Take care of yourself and hang in there. Much love and peace to you. ♥️🙏

Thank you Karen it took me a while to watch this. My husband and I were married 47 years. It will be coming up on a year May 1. I was always happy wearing colorful clothes high energy. We have five sons. Now all I wanna do is lie in bed and wear dark color clothes This to me to stop beating myself up to get back in life. I just have no desire but this did help me. Thank you so much love what you are doing. Thank you Debbie.🥹🦋💜
