I met two woman in Brisbane Australia today. Just here from Scotland. I mentioned 'Still Game' was my favourite show and I watch it each day. They proceeded to rattle off the cast and all the main stories. They were looking on their phone 📱 for a pie shop. I showed them where it was, and we went through the episodes about the pies at the Clansman. A world 🌍 class show.

I have a very soft spot for this show. My mother worked as a music teacher and later on as a doctor in maryhill where much of fictional Craiglang is set. I even recall her making a housecall in « osprey heights ». My dad grew up there too. He didn’t really appreciate still game probably too close to home.

The best thing about this whole episode is Jack and Victor looking "over the hill" and Victor says he's 15 year left..... 15 year later was the final episode called over the hill, intentional or not...... Poetic

wow that sounds like it could have either been just a huge ass coincidence or a completely deliberate throwback. However the final series (9) ended in 2019, this series (2) was 2003, 2015+2003 is 2018 so was 16 years but i guess you could say he was guesstimating and was incredibly lucky and got another year. Either way it's a good observation
