I have a 2013 PCX. Yes the seat is firm but on long trips it is amazingly comfortable. I have taken three four hour rides and have had zero fatigue at the end.

I just purchased a 2022 Honda ADV 150. I’m impressed how it can pickup speed on a incline going 35 mph.👍

I’ve owned many scooters and the PCX is one of the best you can get for the money.

Great video! Buying a PCX next spring after we get through another Midwest winter. Keep the PCX videos coming.

I just bought a 2013 pcx and I LOVE IT ❤️ 😍! She had 740 miles on her. Absolutely perfect looks like she just came off the showroom floor. Mine is the black one. She matches my car.

I had two CT70 Mini Trails one was a 1971 the other 1973 both four speed manuals. Fun little bikes , we hauled our kids everywhere around town.👍😀

Great comparison and review. Shame about the lack of safety gear. Always best to get some before the skin grafts.

The 2022 Monkey is improved and is better, I have a new Black and still breaking it in. So, losing weight and working towards top speed+ out of this Black and silver and chrome beautiful machine.......you need to see the black one, thanks for the review. Buyer beware, if you have to take roads that are 70+ and wrestle semi trucks, then a mini moto is not the way to go. Unless feeling totally vulnerable is your thing Lol I love it, but I wish I bought something bigger :(

Been riding for many years, but when I'm old a feeble I will trade my monkey in for a twist and go and stay on flat surfaces. ;)

PCX hands down the winner.

the best about the Monkey it makes you drive like a kid again, and it looks fantastic and handles just like any mc, but smaller, and I think it sounds okay even at stock, it sounds like an MC a small one but it just perfect for the size, but I understand why people might like the PCX better, but for me, it was no option :)

if you plan on the occasional off-roading then the monkey might be the better way to go, the pcx was definitely not designed for that. but for the commute and around town trips the pcx cannot be beat with its storage and mileage. i bought mine in 2020 and put a 70 litre trunk on the back. it is true about the look from front and rear, people think it is a much larger bike. i have over 20k miles on it already and couldn't be more satisfied with it

Genuine hooligan 170i is a nice mix Reliable easy too get parts Made very well in Taiwan Almost hits 70mph stock

I have a Honda Monkey for pure fun. The advantage of the PCX is that it can carry a pillion and has storage space under the seat and more protection in the rain. However for an everyday scooter would buy a Honda Wave 125 or a Honda Scoopy 110.

We don’t have those in the US. That wave looks pretty cool. I like the bigger wheels. Never seen one before. But I’m afraid the PCX still looks better! Cheers mate!

@@engineeredchannel5649 Honda Wave is more basic and cheaper and faster because it has 4 speed clutchless gear box and weighs less and the seat being flat means it can carry 3 or 4 people in Thailand and more importantly is 54000bt = US$1685 while the PCX is 85,000bt = US$2656.

How often does the drive belt need to be changed according to the manual? Do chains last longer?

You might want to compare the money bike to the Honda Grom.

if u change some stuff in the engine (rollers and transmition spring) on the pcx than for 20 bucks u can make it go 10 miles an hour faster easily

My 2022 Monkey should be here in a couple weeks. Honda addressed a lot of the acceleration/power lag on the new monkeys but also added a host of other refinements to the little bike. I can't wait to get it. I will say one thing, i hope the tail light on the new bike doesn't have that flicker, really annoyin. lol

There is no flicker. That’s a camera thing. The LED frequency must match the shutter speed of the camera making it appear to flicker.

I learned on a Monkey in 1967. I was in the first grade. I'm old as dirt now. It wasn't called the Monkey in 1967 though. Thanks for the memories. This is a little different and bigger. I'm buying a Yamaha Majestic 400 . Tomorrow. God bless.

And because I realize the competition is so ridiculously overpopulated, I jumped on it. 2480 for a 250 that I researched and found out Blue book was 1100. Typical day in California wanna be Mexico. And I being so vocal about opposing the INVASION. I received a nice call from the Cartels. I owned a 2018 Honda pcx 150 and it was great 👍....since then I've owned a Kawasaki z400 and then a Yamaha V-Star 1100 and Now....the best bike 🏍 ever a 2020 Suzuki Burgman 400....Get Some

Why is the Bergman the best?

I wonder if the pcx is a 150 or 125. I believe in the US and Canada they are 150. But just slightly faster for a 150 water cooled auto vs 125 air cooled manual seems odd. That being said, I don’t think you buy either for drag racing. I’ve owned both, a banana yellow monkey and a black pcx 150. The pcx 157cc definitely feels faster and is way more practical. The Monkey makes you smile and enjoy more. Although I personally like the pcx better as my mini bike because it didn’t bring as much attention especially when filling up. I like to be left in piece. That’s the mode I’m in and what riding is about for me.

What about the monkey vs the Grom?

i have drove them both and like the Trail 125 the best. and the pcx is at least 10 mph faster. but i plan on owning all 3 soon

The Monkey has LED lights. It’s a camera affect since LED lights actually rapidly flash and the camera frame rate makes it appear to flash. Thanks for watching

Depends what your looking for.... PCX is the better daily commuter to save gas money.

So, far when it comes to Elegance, YES,, it is PCX.and Honda known its durability!

Not liking that pack on the dude's back..... With the PCX it can be carried under the seat. For transport go for the PCX (I have one, with over 50,000 km on the odometer). For fun the Monkey looks to be a hoot. I'm 68 years old, have been actively riding since I was 11 years old.
