33 winners to 5 unforced errors. Nearly perfect. Although this Serena is long gone, she’s built an incredible legacy.

Serena's serve is just so much more potent on grass. I love the sound of the ball on her racket and when it smashes into the backboards of the court. Tremendous!

Azarenka is the same player that said Serena's serve is not that great, she is not intimidated by it. That same serve almost took her life in this match.

This match is the BEST Serena ever played against Azarenka. Many of their matched were 3 set contests.

Everything was intense about Serena at the Olympics.... her game, her outfit, her face, even her hair!! lol she dominated these girls! I don't know what it was about the 2012 Olympics but she needs to stay in that mindset all year long!

Three aces alone in opening service game against Azarenka, and then end the entire match with a 2nd serve ace. Serena at her best.

Not only was Serena's game on fire at the 2012 Olympics. I thought she has never looked better, appearance wise on a tennis court. I thought she was on fire in that regard as well.

I think what made Serena sooo dominate at the Olympics was her preparation on grass in 2012... She had soo much time on grass, more than usual. She had practice before Wimbledon because of the early round loss at the French, then had played the whole tournament won Wimbledon then practice before the Olympics and played there... Which grass is already her best surface for her game so it was only right that she won!

Oh yeah I forgot about doubles! She is so great on this court she had soo much time on it! Including doubles which really helps her. I miss this Serena.

Serena beat Victoria in the semi final at Wimbledon that year.She beat her at the final at the US open.The semi final that same year in Singapore WTA.

This is the ultimate Serena. This was the form on which she is unbeatable. Lucky for others that this form is comes in waves

This is not the 1st round match but rather the seminfinal. This was a beatdown, not as bad as the finals ahainst Sharadopa. But it was still bad LOL !!!

GOD never stops!

Serena knew that her time is coming to an end (hopefully not too soon) and this may have been the last chance to obtain that special olympic award. With that said, This is the Serena Williams that i like. One who was VERY determined and wasn't going to let *anyone* stand in her way. 2014 was an awful year for serena, but for everyone else, it would have been the best thing! I hope 2015 is much better.

2014 was an awful year for Serena but she still won at least 7 tournaments including the US Open, WTA Finals, and kept her #1 ranking. You're right. It would have been the 'bestest' year ever for EVERYONE ELSE! That speaks volume about how awesome and dominant Serena is.

Kato robinson Not your fault they put the wrong title. Serena beat Jelena Jankovic in the first round. She beat Aga's sister, Urzula, in the second round. 3rd round was Vera Zvonareva. Caro was in the QF. Vika was the semi and Maria Sharapova was embarrassed\throttled\decimated\humiliated in the final. 3 number ones were humbled by Serena. I don't think Serena lost a set during this Olympics. I don't recall her giving up that many games.

Cool Kid I think she and MS do not hit the ball that hard. I feel it is to make it appear as if they are hitting all out when it reality they may be hitting three quarter pace. Also, I know that when I play I like to hear the ball come off my opponent's racket. I could therefore determine how much pace I need to respond in kind. I have heard the great Navratilova say all that noise is tantamount to cheating. I agree.
