The way nickel and evion went at it... it's feels like just two dancers purely enjoying the music I was so focused I thought they were just labbin at btm or something lmaoo
Zyko/Dykens really remind me of the Twins - they sync really well, borrow movements from each other, but also have their own ways of approaching the music since Zyko uses arm threading concepts a lot vs Dykens being more whole body & leg oriented

You’re right, but I’m guessing the judges struggled to pick between 2 dancers, so they made them dance at the time in order to know which dancers is the one with most impact! Just my guess tho.

Its the preselection of Summer dance forever, it is the most popular 1vs1 dance battle event. In the past years it got more and more attention, so the preselection alone was verry long. So to prevent a further grow in the length of the preseleciton they let 2 dancers at once present (i think it wars first in 2017 but i am not sure). Its still hours long! For example in 2019 there were more than 400 dancers in the preselection for the Hip-Hop category! Thats more than 3 hours of preselection. Search for "summer dance forever" on youtube, you will find the full preselections there :) .
