S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Fox's Campfire Ambience (Cordon)

An ambient video of the campfire at the abandoned farmstead in Cordon, north of the Railway, just next to the farm. This is commonly Fox's camp after he's saved by the Marked One, though other Stalkers come here to rest. Unfortunately Fox is often killed by mutants in Shadow of Chernobyl when the player is away.
During my modded playthrough Fox was roaming the Zone freely.
This is probably my favourite place in the zone. Immediately think of this when I think of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Used Xiani's Freeplay Start, as well as Stalker Shaders Max for upgraded graphics.

Cardon was a place of deep thought, however the further into the zone i got the less i could think i was so busy shooting.

Exactly. You took your time in the cordon. You soaked in it. When you want to breath you come back
The funniest thing is that every time I go to the cordon I have to run fast, because if Fox dies because of the blind dogs I won't be able to do the decoder mission
After i finished the story i still come back to accept missions and stuffs but sometimes i just walk around or sit down to an garrison and just feel the vibe..
Wow, superb. I love the lighting changes on the floor! And that fire gets lots of visitors :D

Yeah tough to save him for prolonged periods in vanilla SoC. You'd have to camp in Cordon constantly. In Xiani's Freeplay Mod he wanders around a lot. His survival is a bit better.

He was a good stalker, one more round of beer for him!
When i was playing for the first time i got the mission to meet Fox in that place went further and came back 3 days later, there Fox was dead with some wild dog's bodies around too when death came, he aimed to the head, sadly he missed the shot

That's a very dangerous and uncomfortable place to chill at, but I'll give it a whirl when I have the time. :D
I get the idea, and I like it, but all this fighting cries by npcs and beeping sounds of pda when someone enter the range of your minimap are distracting. you can spend 30 mins removing these sounds from the game to make this more immersive, but you didn't want to put more effort into it

That's fine man. There are other videos out there if you prefer no interference. I quite like it this way. And you're right, I have no interest in doing what you've suggested. I'm happy making videos like this because I'm too busy to spend time with editing.

some people prefer the in game audio and dialogue. If you want just the atmosphere, theres plenty of videos for that, or you could just listen to the soundtrack.
