That is correct, my bad for missing this important secret. Sadly it's not the only one I missed.

Really liked this video, i like how many of these places seem almost impossible to reach at first.

7:30 A more efficient way to go through that tunnel is to go past the train, stand in the middle of the tracks, throw a bolt to trigger the anomaly ahead of you, run through, and then keep right. You have to repeat this twice since there are two more anomalies in your way, but you actually avoid the rad zone doing this, so you can save a few antirads getting the gun.

I just found today in Dark Valley at bandit base down the truck at garage a Obakan and 60 5.45 ammo , thats really amazing that for 1st time I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in 2007 and each time I restart play I found something new :)

Thanks for your comment ! I have though about let's plays, and come to the conclusion that I should not be doing any, at least for now. The main reasons are that it has already been done and redone, and that it would take time and effort, thus reducing my capacity to make other more interesting videos. That said it is still possible that I change my mind in the future.

the lockers and cabinets in Borov's office can be unlocked by shooting the visible locks, and the clips where you'd put a lock on the lockers

Smol tip: you can open some locked containers, drawers and wardrobes by stabbing the lock on them with the knife. It's kinda buggy but it does work.

Regarding the soul artifacts in the garbage behind the anomalous field - you can run behind the anomalies through the high radiation on the side banks then use anti-rads to clear that. Now take your pistol and shoot the artifacts until they are clear of the anomalies on the other side and run back and anti-rad again. Sometimes an artifact will get lost in an anomaly so save scumming may be prudent, lol. Edit: Also in the dark valley - the locked lockers and cabinets can actually be unlocked by equipping the knife and hitting the right spot - basically where a lock would be. This goes for most locked things in SOC.

good job. thanks for showing the artifact on the garbage heap. but you missed three artifacts on Cordon: 1) a radioactive pit not far from Sidorovich's bunker, there are ALWAYS two "jellyfish" artifacts, one lies directly on the ground, the second is in a small metal box, BUT, this box cannot be immediately broken with a knife, the artifact falls through the texture (glitch) of a large box, onto where the small metalbox is located, you need to gently push the box down to the ground with your body, and only then break it. 2) a house in the "village of beginners" (house on video at 1.51), next to it there is a bus and a skeleton of a truck: on the roof of this house and in a box there is a "stone flower", you can climb onto the roof of this house either from the cab of the truck, or along the tree and its branches at the corner. good luck.

Yeah that was my bad, I did not know what I was doing at the beginning.

Kinda sucks that some of these things vary a lot per game, but this guide has been really helpful! For some reason my game didn't spawn a fire battery at garbage so RIP for me, but i'm barely starting and i got so many bullets that i cant walk, and 60k in cash! Loved the video!

I went to the almost impassible gravity anomalous zone in the garbage and passed it successfully, and at one point radiation waits there with some moneymaking artifacts like stone blood and meat chunk (from what I found there) the trick is basically - move from anomaly to anomaly to trigger one another until you passed them, because each one will drag to the center of the anomaly, so activating the other one speeds you up to the direction you're going, especially if towards the anomaly.

I am playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. since 2007, but I never seen some of this spots like stone flower in the novice village or flame battery on the top of garbage pile. This video is kinda outdated, but I am still happy that I bumped into it. Also, you're missed some of the stash spots: In the Garbage on the bottom of every swamp near small bandit camp you can find some medkits, food, a lot of 5.45 ammo and few boxes of 45 acp. But still, good video, fellow stalker.

There is a box with silencer in Agroprom on top of one of the eastern small buildings, you can get to it with the main pipe running true there

In the rookie village, at the front of the village there is a crashed truck, if you jump from the roof of the truck to the roof of that near house, you can go inside the roof and find a box with an artifact, and 2 little metal boxes

Man this video helped me alot in my play through.

At the garbage anomalies, we can get the artifacts, using some granades behind the artifacts and the explosions will push them out of the anomalies, in my case the artifacts stay floating on the air, and i need get a box under the artifact and jump to get it.

Part of me wants to watch this video because stalker is one of my favorite games, but another part of me doesnt want to because knowing all the secrets of the zone would ruin its mystique. This is the curse of stalker

I wish Anomaly had such good loot. You just find random crap in them. If it's ammo it's old which means it's only useable as a crafting resource (cause shooting old ammo is really a last ditch measure). The only kind of useful stuff I got in Anomaly are minor repair items like glue (who can be very expensive in Anomaly).

well Soc not being a sandbox like anomaly has to follow/have a certain gear/level progression. so its not random loot in Soc. also rewards exploration

You missed a shotgun on the roof of first warehouse in garbage, the one bandits attacks... it is on the concrete roof when you pass the almost closed gates

In garbage, there are also some supplies in the pools near the bandit camp at the street.

I did a playthrough like 2 weeks ago. I evntually stopped looking for stuff hidden in boxes etc bc I thought that the reward was never worth the trouble of looking

I knew about bunch of ammo on the tower in the Garbage but not in the Cordon. That would make my old playthrough way better at the beginning when it's pretty rough...

Just bought this on ps4 and had no idea about all the secret loot. I tried for hours trying to get those artifacts at 6:36 got 2 now i have lots of health. This games so fun. I want to do all the side quest and stuff

I have found a supressor on the roof of the place where you have a shootout with the military, before you go to Strelok's Secret Hideout. I believe it is in the Agroprom. It is on the south east roof of the building in a metal box.

Most buildings in rookie have loot up top, just gotta get creative with trees, broken walls and such

13:55 I think you're meant to shoot/stab the locks first, which opens them, but yeah, they forgot to make it so you can't grab objects through other objects 😄

I had the gravi artefact on the top of the rubbish in Garbage and in dark valley I had soul instead of the meat chunk. And the last thing. In the agroprom I don't have a night star.

That is possible, because artifacts spawns are not all 100% defined, so they can change from playthrough to playthrough, and possibly with game versions as well. There are also instances where objects fall through the ground, this is what might have happened to the Agroprom Night Star in your case. I tried to show the usual spots, but there is a theory that every copy of the game is different...

In Cordon you forgot the electrical artifacts in the tunnel which only appears when there's thunder and lightning weather.

There is a silencer, on the garbage scrapyard, in one of the trucks.

I bought the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Trilogy(CD version) for some months ago. I love the games but Shadow of chernobyl is my favorite

As far as I know, Anomaly uses the maps from Clear Sky, so I would expect the boxes to be in similar spots to Clear Sky's. But for the more interesting items such as armors, I'm pretty sure they don't appear in Anomaly.

I love moonlights in SoC, easily the most broken artifact

1:31 - Important armor at the beginning. 2:59 - First silencer You missed second from Garbage. 6:18 - Nice artifact(s), but not available every time... 7:27 - Best machine pistol ( for most common ammo South of the Rostok ) + then 2 cool artifacts ( I recommend taking them later, when having better armor like Stalker suit ) 8:28 - Second electric battery + then night stars - I had 2 and they are important for quests like for Tourist Suit, after x18 8:56 - Important artifacts available at night for running without stopping. You missed Flash from tunnel in Cordon. 9:25 - Yup, nice artifact, not only for quest. 9:48 - Another nice artifact and important armor for next stage of the game. 12:05 - Yeah, only 100 % available Soul in the game. 13:15 - I am here now. These containers are always empty ? Same boxes nearby.

Allegedly there is a harmonica in Dark Valley, but i never found it. The guide writes: "In Shadow of Chernobyl, one can be found in the construction site next to the transition into X-18 in the Dark Valley. It can also be looted from stalkers, but it is extremely rare." My friend looted one in a rookie loner. Any guess where is the harmonica in Dark Valley?

Honestly, I don't know. I just checked the place again and could not find it. There is a guitar however, so maybe the person who wrote the guide confused the guitar for an harmonica ? Or it could be that the item only appears in specific versions of the game, although I doubt it.

@@anomalousdugout9557 my friend always played with the original stalker soc (never used any mods) and he found a harmonica (in the begginning of the game, he went from the rookie village to the tunnel next to the old mill before completing the bandit fight at the carpark. And there was a rookie loner at the tunnel and the harmonica was tradable from him). I dont know that the guide writer could confused the gitar to harmonica. But this item is obviously an extreme rare thing.

The same thing has happened to other people, so it seems that a few of the artifact spawns are either sometimes bugged or not 100% fixed.

@@adiaux1360 I don't think so, but you can find it in a very rare stash in X-18 and as a reward for the mission "kill the traitor" given by Baldy at the bar.

Judging by the UI, he wasn't playing with ZRP mod. He most likely acquired FT200M from the semi-final round in the arena in Bar by using glitches.

I don't know how you made that impossible jump onto the wall on the last one for Cordon. Edit: Finally made it lol. It was hard though.

oh and i missed something. in the territorry full of mercs there an SEVA armored Scientist suit!

Yes, but you need the coordinates of the stash to get the SEVA. As I said at the beginning of the video, the goal was not to show the random stashes, but rather the other forms of loot. That is why that specific SEVA is not shown.

The first time I played SoC it took me ages before I realised you could break the boxes and stuff. Needless to say I spent the first hours of the game very poor and getting my arse slapped by everything.

Yeah it sometimes happens and it's annoying. Maybe you can try saving the game and reloading it, or exiting the area and returning later might also reset the artifact's position.

@@Lolbit_ofc.. I know it is not possible to get there. I said that you should left immediately area and then reenter and immediately go there. I had once behind fence same as you ( using grenades didn't help ) but another I had TWO night stars in front of fence, so only radiation was problem ( one antirad was enough ). Maybe it was a reward for not meeting any Soul ( except the one who is always in the Dark Valley ). There is actually a problem later in the game to get these Night Stars. The quest given by the guy in the bar is often out of date, because the mission target simply dies before you start this mission and even before you go to the Dark Valley in the plot. And the appearance of a full chest with Night Star in x18 is very difficult to occur. You must get its coordinates BEFORE taking documents in this lab. After it is not possible for it to appear in this chest.

Managing your inventory and choosing what to keep and what to throw away can be a challenge sometimes.

or in pripyat a exoskeleton in a stash!!

I didn’t even know that you were able to knife objects for loot.🤦🏼‍♂️

Pro tip: Stock up on antirads and vodka, go to Garbage and go artifact hunting. Agroprom has the most artifacts.

Yes, there are a lot of artifacts in the Agroprom and on the Garbage hills. However I usually don't bother with them since I'm not gonna use them and they don't sell for a lot. That's why I like to go straight for the best artifacts !

Holy fuck is there many stuff in the Vanilla game boxes i just play with mods and be happy when there is one Bandage in a Box... in vanilla there just plopping 1000 APC round of of it xD

It was a bit overpowered to have access to all this loot, that's why many modders choose to remove it.
