I personally think SS Kaiser Wilhelm II was one of the most beautiful ships of her era its so sad how in the end she just got rejected along with her sister ship after the war as soon as the new ships started to take shape like the SS Imperator and her sisters

I honestly do agree

In real life, Kaiser Wilhelm II would have a much sadder fate than this. She would eventually be forgotten, unwanted, rotting with her sister Kronprinzessin Cecilie in the Chesapeake Bay. Both ships would eventually be sent away in 1940 to the scrap yard after being rejected for use in WW2. If only their lives were much more pleasant after WW1. Great video.

The lifeboats appear to have the White Star Line flags on their bows, but SS Kaiser Wilhelm II was owned by Norddeutscher Lloyd.

The lifeboats are intended by the creator of the model to be Titanic’s. However, they would be accurate for the time period, save for their identifying placards. Also, there likely wasn’t a model for an NDL lifeboat. TLDR: It’s good enough, stop nitpicking a masterpiece.

I think your videos are quite well done, and could truly benefit society if you told actual historical events. I am not a fan of taking true, existing vessels and fictionalizing an ending that did not occur. Someone, somewhere will use this story as fact, which will spread because nobody fact checks anything. Unfortunately, history will then have been rewritten just because of your story. There are far too many ocean tragedies to replay without the need to create fiction.

nice attempt but the black outs after each section is ANNOYING

I was aboard when it went down. They kept trying to get me to join their side and I kept turning them down. They wanted my mad nunchuck skills on their side of the war. When the ship started sinking I was pushing as many of those huns underwater as I could and I kept shouting “die, die, die!!” They drowned like a bunch of rats. I had nightmares for days but then I got over it. I lost my pocket knife.
