Finally picked up a set of these after listening to endless videos out there. I will say that the sound is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Not loud and obnoxious (to each their own), and a nice low power sound. MUCH improved over the OEM exhaust. Fit and finish were perfect and the packing was outstanding. (You could have dropped the box off a cliff and there would be no damage). The only comment I might have was the upper provided clamp, in the upside down position, those threads stick up quite a bit... I clamped down to the TQ specs, then loosened and tilted inward so I could still slip on a tall socket w/o touching the motor. That total eliminated any minor clamp leak and looks much better. NET NET, the sound was PERFECT for me. I'd highly suggest these it you want a nice sound, and something that looks proper. Well done S&S. They look damn great on the bike!

Bob, factory pipes on the Fatbob sound exactly like my riding lawn mower. I just ordered new pipes and air cleaner. Great videos from S & S.

I guess that would explain it. :-) I'm looking forward to when they are. I'm working on getting a custom software business going and hope that it takes off and does well enough to allow me to buy a new Low Rider and customize it to my taste.

I'm thinking you can squeeze maybe 1 or two more horses if you keep the Stock Air cleaner configuration and just put in a K&N. The Stock air box has that Snorkel at the bottom and wile moving, you can get a Quasi Ram-Air effect, that you wont get on a Dyno....Just Saying ????

Not knocking HD,cuz I got one,but 103 putting out 67hp,is fuking embarrassing

The specs for the 103 are indeed EMBARRASSING. I recently installed the cobra speedster slash cut exhaust system and a cycle visions moflow air intake finished with a power commander dyno tune. Needless to say after approximately $1300 of these performance upgrades, I've only gained 4 HP and 4 ft/lbs torque as a result. 77 HP total and 90 ft/lbs torque total. Stock numbers were 73hp and 86 ft/lbs torque. Harley Davidson sales people call the FATBOB their hot rod/muscle bike. My 1200cc nightster with v&h short shots exhaust and Arlen ness intake is much quicker and cost me much less to upgrade. The 2014 fatbob is not a slow bike for 700+lbs.....but I just expected greater numbers from the 103. My 2013 triumph Thunderbird had a 1600cc parallel twin that cranked out 107 ft/lbs tq and 97hp STOCK!! The Victory Hammer with the freedom 106 will outperform even Harleys favored vrod family without question. I know because I've ridden both of them WOT. Don't get me started on the Yamaha Raider. Might as well just watch them pass you up and enjoy the show on your fatbob. Good news is.......chicks don't know the difference 😁! Safe riding y'all!!

You know your pipes suck when a stock Honda is louder than your new Fatboy, LOL If you don't set off a few car alarms when you pass by it's not loud enough. LOL I can't remember the year of my HD Fire-Fighter Special Ultra Classic but it was the First year HD came out with the Anti-lock brakes and I pretty much had to have a Fuel Injection Brain installed when I put my V&H pipes on. The fuel commander was by V&H also. Big difference in performance :-)

Good effort but whoever wrote the lines for the commercial... Gosh... So cheesy.
