To be honest, I have never been to Adelaide, but have my friends there. From there experience the weather is pleasant, it does not get extremely hot.

Yes, Australia is strict as I mentioned in the video, do not bring any food item especially pickles, dairy food items. We brought pickle when we came here but nowadays people are getting issues at the airport clearance if they have such food items with them.

I would say just carry some pairs of shoe, as in your initial days you will have so many other things to spend on but do not carry a lot of shoe pairs.
