@@pranejon Thanks for the comment and I don't disagree. It was hard thinking about how to translate ອ້າຍ and ນ້ອງ; I thought about leaving it as "Aiy" and "Nong" too. You lose out some of the meaning and tenderness when you shift the translation from third person (in the original Lao) to first person ("I" and "you" in English). I think most English speakers would understand given the lyrics of the whole song that they are not literally brother and sister. As for "ພໍໄດ້ເຫັນຫນ້າ", I had a chance to ask Buek Kingdom about this and he said "Just to see your face" was more of the meaning that he intended, with "ພໍໄດ້" being translated as "just" (have edited the translation accordingly). Definitely translation nuances and a lot of things just don't translate directly. Appreciate the feedback 👍

The guy (AiiLa), who sings first (blush purple) has a lot stage presence. Even when his eyes are on the lady , I felt the connection between him and me . As if he was singing the song to me as well .

I love Asian culture I noticed when I said that I was only meaning Chinese Japanese and Korean so I started looking into central Asian and southeast Asian culture and loas has to have the prettiest music so far ! I love it ! ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇲🇽😀

What a song!!! At first I didn’t think much about it when my family played it but then a few days later…my brain started to play this heart felt melody out of nowhere in my head and now I’m stuck in replay!:)
