Anton Sonin, aka SØNIN, returns to Anjunabeats with ‘Cry’.
Anton is a DJ and producer from Finland. He honed his craft in a studio space in Helsinki, shared with compatriots Super8 & Tab, Yotto and Supermodels From Paris.
Anton worked with Super8 & Tab on their iconic Anjunabeats single ‘Black Is The New Yellow’ from 2010, and collaborated with Yotto on ‘Hear Me Out’ and ‘Nothing Like You’.
‘Cry’ is Anton’s third solo release on the label in 2021. He’s also contributed to ‘Koski’ from gardenstate’s album ‘Inspirations’, and provided a remix of Super8 & Tab’s ‘Mercy’ as part of the ten-year anniversary celebrations for their iconic ‘Empire’ LP.

You guys have progressed straight into the dirt. This music is cut off from the roots of its origin. Anjunabeats dishonors its lineage with generic sub par trash. You guys used to be great. No, I'm not jaded. Anjunabeats is a play on Anjuna beach? Right? Not even comparable to your predecessors. Where is the weight and energy that was once found in your music? We need a regressive reveloution. Big room trouse is disgusting and generic. Just like this label.
