For the longest time the swiss version of Dracula was my favourite musical ever produced, with emotion, epic songs, sexy overtones and faifthulness to the source, but the more and more I listen to Excalibur, I fall deeper and deeper into love with it. It is so dark, haunting and beautifully heroic and charming that it's almost unbearingly intimate! Awesome stuff and expert musicianship!

I searched up the lyrics and the words to the Latin chant are “Vincula vincite omnia, Sagitta magica fatale agite, Agite iris caliginis, Inius a gloriam extinguite” which means something like “Defeat all bonds, carry out a magic deadly deal, extinguish the starting point of honor” (using Google Translate and a bit of guesswork/context clues)
