As a Muslim i never heard of these many castes ever. Not in the masjid, not from my parents. We pray behind every Muslim. We don't even know who's who. We don't have a concept of caste in Islam. I'm not denying that such a division don't exist in society, but this is highly a regional problem. One must not direct this towards Islam. Our scholars have always preached equality among Muslims, and not to discriminate on the basis of color, language or profession.

In India every religion has caste system.. Seeing and learning I could say that with confidence. Just live peacefully that's it.. Don't know when this nightmare will end.. In Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu my seniors told me how Christianity is having different churches for different castes who converted... And muslim is all around you, so much population.. @@HerculesKumar88 Yes, if I don't see it, it doesn't mean it's not there and I'm not denying its existence or the injustice. My only point here is not to associate it with the religion of Islam. Nowhere in Islamic texts, you'll find a system of castes. No real Muslim scholar will ever preach this. And beyond that, don't you think it goes against the concept of "Ummah"? I think you know* about it. What Muslims do doesn't necessarily mean that it is Islamic. And, I'm none of the things you've mentioned :)

I am not metro city or rich guy, but most of imams in every masjid is usually from so called ajlaf community, yes there is economic difference but untouchability.

Actually he is a time traveler, he went back in time created the differences, came back to present to spread it through his journalism and belive me there is a time traveling machine in his office where he goes to the future where he's the supreme leader of the world.

Many off people here have following views 1 Islam dosnt recognise caste differences 2 Reservation should be on economic backwardness not on caste 3 If muslim wants reservation then they should do Ghar wapsi etc But reality is different from misconception prevailing in such discource 1 Economic criteria based reservation should not be justified under modern liberal politics. 2 In India caste based reservation is given because so called lower castes have been subjugated for thousands of years. And they cannot expect that lower caste can compete on equal basis suddenly after Independence. 3 Pasmanda muslims or others are not recognised as SC, not because Islam treat every one equals, but because political and judicial system prevesouly beleive that since Islam came from outside hence followers of Islam were not subjugated under caste system. 4 However all Muslims donot come from outside. Majority of them are converted. Hence they have also faced caste based predujices. Since Converts from Hinduism to Budhhism still recognised as SC, this methodologies shpuld also be recognised for those Dalits who converted to Islam. 5 Any politicial party who realy show compassion of pasmanda or other dalit muslim should form a committee to study dalit converts to Islam and possibility to award them SC status.

सैद्धांतिक दृष्टि से तो इस्लाम में सब बराबर हैं पर इस्लाम के नाम पर बने देश , पाकिस्तान में पंजाबी सबसे ऊपर हैं फिर और सब अपनी संख्या तथा सेना में जातीय वर्चस्व के अनुसार बड़े या छोटे हैं यहाँ तक कि 1971 में देश का दुबारा बँटवारा होने में इसी विभेद का बड़ा हाथ था।
