劇場版懐かしいな…また見てきます！

Only on my third watching of this anime, and watching this video of how the instrument is played, have I begun to truly appreciate how absolutely detailed the animation of this show and movie is. There are scenes where more than two dozen characters are all moving or running differently, all at the same time. The details of the tanks are amazingly accurate to the actual tanks, down to where things like shovels and cables are stowed outside. Yeah, the interiors seem a bit more spacious than reality would allow, but it is a character-driven story. And the girl playing this instrument is string and finger accurate to the actual playing (other than it seems the anime girl and this real player have opposite hand use). - I also love how in these scenes, tank shots are often at the exact moment to punctuate music phrases.

Just typed Kirill Bogomilov in the search, he plays a unique 25-stringed Helmet-Sharped Russian gusli. Never before have I heard such beautiful music instrument that touches my heart. It has a sound that reverberates and blows through my mind like wind running through leaves.
