كل كلامه بعيد عن الواقع والحقيقة، بشير قام بالتخلص من طوني فرنجية وداني شمعون بهذه الطريقة الدموية لان بشير كان يخطط ليصبح رئيسا للجمهورية وطوني فرنجية وداني شمعون هم منافسينه الطبيعيين على هذا المركز وبخاصة طوني فرنحية،هذه حجة مقتل جود البايع لا تنطلي على احد حتى على طفل صغير،بسبب مقتل شخص ترتكب مجزرة يذهب ضحيتها نائب وابن رئيس جمهورية ومرشح للرئاسة هذه لا تنطلي حتى على طفل صغير،ثم يتهم الاحرار انهم كانوا شبيحة وتجار مخدرات والكل يعرف انه من مارس هذه الاعمال هي القوات اللبنانية نفسها والدليل كلام بشير للقواتيين بعد ان اصبح رئيسا للجمهورية انه من هون ويالرايح ممنوع الزعرانات والتشبيح والخوات،وهيدا اكبر دليل على من كان يقوم بالزعرنات وهذا الخطاب موجود والكل يعلم ذلك،والحقيقة انو يللي حصل حصل غدرا بعد ان تم اعطاء نمور الاحرار الامان وتم سحب مقاتلي النمور من الشوارع وفك الاستنفار تم مهاجمتهم وارتكاب محزرة رهيبة بحقهم ذهب ضحيتها قرابة ال ١٠٠ شخص من الاحرار مع زوجاتهم واطفالهم وحتى العمال الباكستانيين غدرا في منتجع الصفرا!حتى امين الجميل نفسه الذي يتكلم الان لم يسلم من بطش بشير ولم يكن له اي كلمة بوجود بشير ولم يكن حتى يريد ان يسمع باسمه،ولولا الشيخ بيار ربما كان نفاه من لبنان،وهذا باعتراف معاوني بشير انفسهم!!!مع احترامي لك كلامك وتبريراتك التي لم تقنع حتى محاورك

I agree with you, "some made horrible mistakes" and as I said, this is the ugly part of the war, especially a civil war. how about if we forgive, not forget, learn from our mistakes and build a better future? Lebanon deserve peace - its a unique small little land - for someone who lived the war, all of the war, I still want to live in Lebanon (not in living in Lebanon since 1991) and not in any other Arab country! I like diversity along with nice beachers, churches and mosques.

I admire your courage Mr President regardless if I agree or disagree with your role during the civil war... it may never come back.

The interviewer raises his eyebrows when hearing about the connection Lebanese Christians made with Israel. Let's remember that SLA members where mainly Shia and Israel's closest Lebanese allies are the Druze. During Israels invasion in 1982, an Israeli army unit came with heavy vehicles to Tel el Zaatar, guided by none other than Abou Moatasam, one of the PLO leaders at the camp in 1976, dug deep in the rubbles to remove an arsenal of weapons left by the PLO to the shocking eyes of locals.

During war we all made mistakes, I agree. Some made horrible mistakes that were purely driven by a vicious criminal nature. Crimes that had no value but to retaliate from women, kids, and elderly who were armless. Those have to be exposed and prosecuted if we want to ever have a peace. A true peace that comes form within and lasts. While most of the leaders in Lebanon are incompetent, it doesn't mean that it is ok to have allowed such a criminal, shallow and ignorant person to be in power.

The former president is accurate in what he said. The interviewer should behave with a better manner in his interviews and keep his voice down and his feelings and opinion to himself as it's obvious that he's not neutral in his questions and opinion. Christians are original Lebanese and did not parachute from the skies and have all the right to defend themselves when facing threats. Thats what the Yemenis, Jordanians & Kuwaitis did when faced with aggression from "Arab brothers" in their lands.

Palestinians and Syrians fought Lebanese Christians in Lebanon. They did not cause harm to the Syrians or Palestinians in their territories in deed they served all Arab causes and welcomed Palestinian refugees better than others and helped the Syrian workers for decades by giving them jobs and allowed them to live in Lebanon in degnity and freedome something they lack back home. It is Lebanese Christian schools and universities that provided good education to many Arab students for decades.

He is witness on what have happened during his days . What value does this bring to the discussion if you prove that Abu Moatasam or whoever also dealt with Israel !? Is it wrong to deal with Israel or is it not!? Lets just admit that. Or does it satisfy some of our inner racism to just attack others?!

During the war all of us made rmistakes - the ugliest form of war, is a civil war. No one can be excused but at least he's talking - and admitting mistakes. Show me one Arab leader how has? Show me one Arab leader was treated in an intreview like this president? Thank you

Tal el Za3tar and Sabra and Shateela says it all. No need to deny it. While many christians were indeed in self defense, their leaders have committed crimes against humanity that were ruthless and vicious. There were no need for such crimes at all except to satisfy their thirst for blood. No need to go on in our lives denying that. You'll say others did the same . Some did but not all. But still what has been done has been documented and the barbarism of those and some others need 2 be exposed

Amin makes it as if the Christians were only defending themselves from Palestinians how about the Lebanese muslims that were slaughtered on black Saturday by his colleges? The Kateeb were the first to introduce identity card killings and committed the first two major massacres of the war Tal el zatar and Karantina.

I don't understand how such an incompetent guy who lies in every other sentence could have been a president. He is so ignorant, so shallow, and a criminal.

The former president spits only lies. Mr. Mansour has presented to him several resources which are neutral and mutlicentered. He has even presented to him information from members of his own party. But Mr. the x president denies it all. Modifies it to make it look like its ok to massacre women and kids if you defending your town. The fact is, this family has f-up so much in Lebanon that it is time for its members to let go. NO NEED FOR ANOTHER ONE OF THEM. LEBANON HAS UNLIMITED POTENTIALS.
