RE. REVIEW. REVIEWED AGAIN. THIS ISN'T THE NEW ONE.

Shin may be an absolute mess and objectively bad... but he still holds a special place in my heart because he was a surprise gift to me from my father the year Shin Godzilla came out. I had no idea it (the figure) existed and when he brought it out that Christmas, I went crazy. Been displaying him proudly [paint defects, scratches and scrapes and all] with zero regret. Love this beautiful trainwreck

Good thing I had the volume down, I knew Shin was going to roar in the video!!!

I still have a fondness for mine, but the loose tail and paint rubbing was horrible. I also like the slightly modified sculpt that they did for later releases. I hope the Night Combat uses that mold, and i'm looking forward to it. The Awakening is still my favorite version so far.

There's no change in the sculpt except they cleaned up the flash markings on the head. It's the same otherwise.

what’s scary about shin Godzilla is that if he wouldn’t stop evolving, he’d wipe out the human race easily.

So funny voice for this Shin Godzilla, Steven 😂. Yeah this one so disappointed, not worthy to pick up 😞.

Hey Steven you think I should buy the new one…I have enough money but I’m teetering on yay or nay

So I've seen the night version of Shin from multiple places of people who have it and aside him being more "red". The only major difference I noticed but could be the paint is the teeth seem "bigger". But man I've seen some night Shins that looks alright to downright OG version levels bad (Especially the eyes).

If I get my hands on Shin Godzilla, I would have him pitted against Legendary Godzilla and Kong.

Impressive that shin has 5 different figures now including the new one. With the next one coming soon this is just a straight up Fat NOPE.

I waited for a deal at least. $115 new in package

Holly shit, I never considered the tail weight having these consequences on the joints

I don't think there will ever be a good looking articulated shin goji. I replaced my shma with a hyper solid series, and I got the ric gigantic series on release. Both of those are wonderful, but God help anybody trying to get those on the aftermarket now. The shin goji 2nd form hyper solid series hasn't gone insane price wise yet, so if that's a hole in somebodies collection that needs to filled I would suggest looking at it.

The repaint looks like an exact copy of this figure. I could be wrong but it doesn't even look like a resculpt like the Gamera 3 figure is.

I think the sculpt and paint look great. Any toy that comes out is going to look "muddied up" because that's what Godzilla looks like... It looks 10x better than legendary Goji from SH Monsterarts. I get the figures need articulation but everything else coming out of SH looks terrible with all the segments of the neck clearly showing you this is a toy. I want people to mistake it for a statue when they walk in. This Shin Godzilla fits that requirement for me, looks good

I mean, if you do, cool, but it truly isn't done well. Check out the maquette/store exclusive version. Done MUCH better.

I think it's absolutely insane to critique a figure with literally a microscope... I an sure I have collected LONG before anyone in here and I have NEVER used the term "disappointed " while talking about a toy.
