I hope they stop the shit and add those parts with wired cloth on all their figures. Sadly, it seems they are all different teams with freedom to design as they see fit

@@armandocarrion479 SHF is starting to use more cloth goods on their figures Last year's Darth Vader and the upcoming figures of Teen Gohan, Makima (Chainsaw man), Schierke (Berserk) and Uchiha Itachi (Naruto) all have cloth goods

I just wish the Luffy face didn't come with this figure. The other dlc faces are niche enough but the grinning face this comes with is one of his most iconic looks.

I’m just hoping the romance dawn Luffy is better

I do wish he was a bit taller and had a soft goods skirt, but I am overall happy with this figure and may get a 3rd part skirt for mine. Added bonus was he came with a solid face for Luffy

She is based on oni/yokai, creatures from Japanese folklore as well as har father Kaido.

I picked her up, but I’ll be looking for a custom cloth skirt for her.

You created quite the drama on the Mcfarlane Reddit sub. I thought it was pretty funny. People get too attached to things they buy

No Naarutiii stuff😢😢😢 But this is probably the next best thing Wish they handled the skirt on the One Piece figures like they did with Obito, but ofcourse none can rival the Naarutiii line!

I love this figure, adding a soft goods skirt would make it a 9-10/10 without a doubt as the posing is a bit of a pain but she looks great. Looking forward to the future OP releases

Excellent timing. Mine is coming in tomorrow but the purchase was a bit of a gamble. This review's now assuaging some of my concerns. Fingers crossed mine's just as good. I'm also all-in on for this line. It'd be awesome if they could make the OG Admirals and the Warlords soon enough considering they're doing Pre-TS alongside Post-TS. I wouldn't even mind paying extra if it meant absolute units like Akainu, Kizaru, or Blackbeard had accurate heights.

Thanks for the review! I have a couple questions: 1) I did watch the whole thing, but it’s hard to picture how all the individual articulation limitations come together. Would you say that the shots at the end are representative of the upper limit of how dynamic she can be posed while still not ruining the aesthetic? 2) Since you havent met the character yet, is the reason you got the figure just because you thought it looked like a good figure, or because you’re a One Piece fan, or purely for review purposes, or all of the above?

Nice review! This line definitely started rough but only hope to see it get better and better. Tamashii should be putting their best work into these One Piece figures 🙏

She is the daughter of Kaido, they have horns before Kaido ate his devil fruit. Still hoping they make a better Luffy/Zoro figure, maybe fix them in the reissue.

I hope the line continues so we can get all the villains, admirals, pirates. The figures look great so hopefully they workout the issues and these will be awesome. The new one piece figures are looking questionable. Law has a rubber overlay shirt, kidds arm looks pretty cheap in irl event pics and gear 5 luffy has a super weird crotch set up and bendy wire limbs, hopefully these things will be fine when released. The pre timeskip nami and luffy look pretty good though.

I can't wait for the Sh Figuarts Kaido.

I definitely am still very excited for the line. The only bad figure is Zoro, I don’t get the complaints with Luffy. Other than the lack of accessories or gum-gum effects he’s a solid figure. The knee range could definitely be better but it doesn’t stop him from doing his iconic poses, including gear 2. The pre timeskip Luffy and Nami are high on my want-list. I will stick only to the crew members with maybe the exception of a future Shanks. Gotta stick to my budget somehow.

Yeah, I also think the Luffy figure gets an unfair rep. He’s a solid purchase. Though his knees are definitely a huge flaw that shouldn’t even be happening for SH Figuarts. And accessories are weird. I’m not sure how the logic works. He comes with more than a Goku(which I get because they sell him all the time) but Naruto seems to come with way more? Idk how the logic adds up.

My Luffy came with QC issues on his left leg it is just TOO stiff to the point bending it out leads to a cracking sound. Haven't touched it since

Honestly I’ve done some work on Luffy and now he doesn’t fall apart which is great, and I’m gonna do some custom work on Zoro, I’m planing on getting Sanji and Yamato next

I'm positive that any Wano characters with horns like that are some kind of Oni.

Toys need more soft plastic on them especially for any pants robe that will hinder articulation.

I think sanji and yamato shows the line can be really good. I have high expectations from Eustass Kid, but that's about it.

I’m not a OnePiece die hard fan and I still think Luffy and Yamato are great figures. The way they split the skirt isn’t really a problem, specially since her articulation works better than expected. The real letdown comes with accessories…she needed effect parts for sure.

Not knocking your endorsement but I get compliments on my Marvel shirts every time I wear it. Depends on the characters I'm sure.

I think the one piece line is fine. Luffy was alright. Sanji and Yamato are good. Zoro is the only one that’s egregiously bad. The other figures shown look promising with Kaido, Law, and Kid. The line that’s been disappointing is the bleach figuarts.

Her relationship is a spoiler I guess but she's just one of the many races of the one piece world. It's never clarified for sure but the community believes she is from the ancient oni race, therefore making her bigger than a normal human and having horns. Very strong character and looks in scale if not a little on the small side when you compare him/her to luffy. Their gender is a weird topic, when you get context from the anime it makes more sense

I think a lot of people overreacted. For me, Zoro was the only dud. Terrible, terrible figure. Possibly the worst one I own. Luffy other than the knees was pretty fun. Sanji was great all around, and now the best one, Yamato.

I think its hard to keep the original size into shf, like kaido is 7meter and yamato almost 3meter.

Many people had problems with Luffy aside from his limited posability. Probably about 50% of them have loose enough legs that they fall off.

​@AnthonysCustoms biologically yes, but he does identify as a man in the series, but its never been stated anywhere that he is transgender and based off how Sanji reacted I am going to say all female bits are intact. Was a big point of debate when the character showed up.
