It sure is sister. What do we really have? Each other and a place to call home. Everything else is temporary and deception. Real property is through the heart and only God can give those things at His will by His grace.

It is a true privilege to hear from these original descendants of the Gullah Geechee nation - to learn how to better appreciate the land and the traditions of people I’ve never met. I grew up in Georgetown, SC, which is on the coast about 60 miles north of Charleston. I have seen the impact that Gullah Geechee nation and its traditions gave to what we here call the “Lowcountry.” Thank you for sharing this story and informing us of the needs and difficulties the people of John’s Island and St. Helena Island. These are hard working people and I admire them greatly. We all have much to learn from them and the great heritage they brought here.

It's overwhelming. I'm in Georgia and I'm aware of the affect on the coastlines here. We are losing land at an increasingly rapid pace and it's affecting the wildlife. I can't say I have any GG heritage, but my people are from NC and Virginia, so my heart is in the south and with the land. I don't know what to do except make lifestyle changes myself that could decrease impact on the planet. I'm thankful my family is open minded to the things I'm trying to change in our carbon footprint. Some people don't wanna hear it and wanna keep the things/ways that are comfortable to them.

Praise the Lord, who is God. Give Him glory, that's our JOB. Who is the Lord? Few will say. Future tense? No, TODAY. The great falling away already started. From His truth, THEY departed. They love the world, and the things in it. Yet, it all was written FROM the beginning. Made manifest in the word. Once was flooded, Soon to burn. Prophesy is being fulfilled as I write this, Even as my flesh tries to fight this. Overcome, by HIS spirit. The end is near, and I don't fear it. Fear of the Lord IS the beginning of wisdom. A place for US, in HIS kingdom. Written before the foundation of the world, We jump over the swine, and retain our pearls. God absolutely, irrevocably is "A man of His word"
