When he met The Darkling for the first time, he didn't stepped back because he was scared, he stepped back to have the exit closer. Then he provoke him to attack him and then he can drop his bomb. What a genius.

I just read the books and I got so incredibly hyped every time one of Kaz's plans was revealed, he's a legit prodigy

I really love the fact that no one was able to ever kill him, and is a world with people with powers

He's a mix between anti hero and anti villain in my opinion. He's very grey, but he knows who he loves and would die for them. And compared to the Darkling, he's an angel lmao.

Kaz is such a tragic character. Yet once he has success he can’t escape his PTSD and the guilt.

The ptsd yeah but the guilt? Kaz is many things he is haunted and traumatized and tragic but guilty is not one of them I think

@@Valiguss not a specialist but I have a feeling that he has a survivor syndrome. He mentions his brothers voice like something that's torturing him and yet he's angry with Jordie for trusting the wrong man. It's almost like he hates that he didn't die with his brother.

@@justwonder1404I’m pretty sure there is an explicit line about him wishing he died. And I agree, he seems to have survivor’s guilt. He was terrified of letting his brother down.

Interesting how in a world with people with powers. Kaz is a guy hard to kill.

he is smart, that makes him dangerous.

I saw some people say that although Kaz's casting and performance were good he just needed to be darker and more monstrous to get Kaz, which I agree to some extent but when Kaz broke that guy's arm that what made him Kaz.

there is Kaz Brekker who is sometimes hilarious and shady and then there is Dirtyhands who is ruthless and cold and full of vengeance he has two side of himself and it is shown in the book multiple times

Yeah kaz is scary, second only to Abess glass book of the ancestor for insane ability to make plans and predict (for those who don’t know abess glass set in motion a plan basically by giving subtle nods that caused years after her death a group of about 5 people to save an entire country from destruction her planning ability borders on future sight
