I just want to say a big "Thank You" for allowing those of us who choose NOT to buy into big cable companies an opportunity to watch your show online. There have been other shows I was following that decided to sign the dreaded exclusivity rights with Sportsman's Channel and force us to either pay for their downloads or pay for cable/satellite TV. By advertising throughout your program, and by viewers requesting information about gear, I discovered KUIU hunting products and the like and have actually purchased from these vendors because of it! Please pass the word along and keep up the awesome shows!!!! +SOLO HNTR

I have been in the same boat you mentioned with staying or going home. I could not agree with you more, making sure your wife knows you are safe is more important than one particular hunt . You and Remi are the best at what you do. Filming and hunting are very difficult to do by yourself. I have watched a ton of your videos and just subbed.

I enjoy the hunts, and look forward to seeing more of them. Ive been out of the elk hunting and western hunting game for TOO LONG! its time to get back to it....thanks for stoking the fire.

reminds me of the days when i was a young buck hunting with my dad...all the game i scared away...i don't know how he did it...haha...it all paid off in the end, and when we hunt now we make an unstoppable team knowing what eachother's next move is without even speaking...great video...thanks for sharing and I agree that capturing the footage of the hunting experience is just as if not more rewarding than harvesting an animal...happy hunting my friend

I've hunted those same mountains for elk its tough with the wolves now. The elk prefer open hill sides so stalking is hard. For the last 5 years they don't bugle or talk like they use to because of the wolves. Great job on getting it done. Enjoy your videos great to pass time until bow season starts again. Great to see another Idaho man that loves hunt here.

Oh, no I feel your frustration, I don't have a satellite phone, so it's hard to find signals sometimes, so there's been times when I've had to hike back to the truck , and drive till I get one . and at that point I, sleep in my truck then have hike back to camp early in the morning. and at that point we set up a 48 rule , just makes her worry less .

Does anyone have any idea what part of Nevada one could at least anticipate hearing or seeing some elk. I have hunted Montana Wyoming and Colorado but never Nevada. I appreciate any feedback.

Get a HAM license and radio. The license cost like $7 and radios with extended antenna and battery about $50. Both you and your wife will need one, but its a ton cheaper than satellite phone and can even outperform the phone. Both you and your wife will need a license but the basic technician level is not hard to do. I bring a handheld HAM radio with me whenever I go into the back country and its a never fail.

The random-gear audio is so hard on the ears. We are listening closes to you whisper and then, it cuts immediately to the loud audio for the random- gear ad.

If I ever wanted to hunt again and had it not turn into a fight, I would also be packing off the mountain. Hunting is a lot more enjoyable when you don't have an angry wife.

The whole purpose of this type of video is to advertise products, they are lacking real time action, to much flashing of cameras.
