RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate - First Ride @ Sand Hollow
This will be our first time really driving the Pro R 4. We had previously ridden and give thoughts, and have some good seat time in the 2 seater… but this 4 seater is a whole new animal!
This isn’t a review video, it’s more just hanging out with the guys and getting our raw impressions of the driving experience.
Big thanks to Spike Powersports in Tremonton for the RZR and trailer loaner. We broke it in for ya! 😂
We are used to the RZR turbo S 4 seaters and this machine feels so different!
The major upgrades you can feel are the steering and the Dynamix 2.0 suspension. The huge shocks with the extra travel made it hard to get the back tires off the ground, even at 70+ through a medium whoop section with the guys!

The car has a lot of cool features but I still like my TS4w/dynamics. Seats are comfortable and I like the finished cabin too

Badass machine. Guys they make other colors it's not a 1 and done color for all pro r lol. How is this pro r compared to the turbo r?

Ya, Ryan just likes to talk trash 😂🤷🏻♂️ The Pro R feels more powerful once you get it above 50mph specifically. Up until then it feels similar. The extra long trailing arms aren’t good in the rocks, but that same length makes it really good on the whoops. For Sand Hollow we’d choose the turbo, for strictly dunes or wide open, the Pro R. Polaris has made significant improvements for both these models compared to previous

@@OffCamberInd right on that's good feedback. I'm just debating on the turbo r or the pro r. More half at glamis and have at ocotillo wells. Trying to figure out witch one is priced right and best for both worlds.
Probably a great unit! I just can't get passed the cost 50k. (I'm not the market=poor) The blog Boys destroyed theirs and it took it!! 50k builds a badass X3 or RZR! Thanx!

We are thinking you could run either. There may be times on 37s where you’d wish it were geared lower

Thing is massive! Looks like it smashes trails easily. They definitely messed up on the color scheme. Not sure whose idea that was.

I have seen Polaris say the stock pro r cage is .095 wall tubing.

That’s a good upgrade over the .68 or whatever from previous. With an extra 500 lbs machine weight, it surely needed it!

Confirmed, Doug, you are correct. The stock cage is .095 wall. The tubing is seamed which is not as strong as DOM. Our recommendation is to replace it with an aftermarket. We know for a fact that they work. Ask Sterling over at Revolution Off Road. Thanks for setting us straight.
