Now I can see some resemblance between RZA and my moms, they both like to get to know a piece of gear and they stick to it and use that and save the amount of time it would take to learn something that might be a lot newer. Sometimes I focus on something too much and suddenly I’m forgetting to breathe because I’m too concerned with some small detail and I should actually let the thing go. RZA seems really flexible with a whole lot of his creativity and that’s why he’s so diversified and has multiple skills and talents. GREAT VIDEO! Because it’s short and only gives a small glimpse into the RZA’s workflow, although here he isn’t anything like a heartless robo-rapper to be feared for his devastating beats and rhyming. This really shows just how down to earth he is and also that you don’t have to be completely obsessed with, or worse even consumed by meeting some rigorous standards that you’re actually holding yourself to. And he’s a great story teller! Really ready to openly admit what cultures he burrows from, and ready to discuss his stories behind the process. We could all take lessons from this guy, but he somehow reminds me that we can take lessons from anyone, in a very low key way. Thanks for sharing this!!

2 of my favorites. That’s also what makes RZA great…..the fact that he’s never been boxed in when it came to other cultures & sounds etc he uses them all and out comes truly original & unique magic. Shtt make me miss the 90’s

The RZA is deep for real it was the perfect storm his mind and musical capabilities and talent to mix with the intellectual lyrical fire street mc's to form the wutang did anyone catch where he said he gets different sounds from the same instrument by just broadening his fingernail something he picked up from watching the style of other musicians a true student master and LIVING legend
rza is such an amazing producer bruh, and afro samurai was such a masterpiece in every way, rza added even more emotion than there already was, beautiful
Genius level production going on here. 👏
*the hair that would make Einstein jealous*

Looking and sounding like a mad scientist RZA a GOAT
What a legend. I fell asleep watching afro samarui last night and just listening to the music I just knew the feeling it was conveying and I could see it being played out with my eyes closed. That's the best way I can describe how wild and great the RZA is

Nobody talks cooler than this guy except maybe Snoop.
Whoa! Thanks a LOT for posting this!! I've seen it before a bunch of times, but not an HD version. A lotta stuff I can see in it for the first time :)
This is why he’s my favorite Wu - member his skill is beyond that of his body and is complete with his mind, but there was a faithful day I witness this and the other clips on Afro production I decided he was the one, number one
One of the greatest of all time!!

This guy's a genius!!!
I would KILL to make a song with RZA. Also, interesting that he uses Protools, I use Reaper.
Truly a pioneer and a legend
We need another wave of wu solo albums w rza as the sole producer
Thanks for sharing this!!
god damn RZA, I for a first time listen how U play all of this instruments
