To clear up confusion: Bakugans also have monsters coming out of the orbs, but they aren't spinning tops. Bakugan is more like Yu-Gi-Oh than Beyblade. For Beyblade, the monsters are spiritual beings within the spin tops, so they have a bunch of abilities.
