The Black Air Force of my childhood. This man was an absolute menace.

In the manga, it's revealed Ryuga survived and took an apprentice who appeared in the sequel series. Furthermore you guys mentioning Ryuga as the protagonist is pretty close. Those who've taken a deep dive onto his character dub him a main villain who entered a Pseudo mentor role, teaching every character a valuable lesson. Kyoya needed humility but also a brick wall to overcome, Tsubasa needed to overcome his own darkness, and that soccerball head boy Kenta? He was once always by the protagonists side, but heavily in Genka's shadow which is why he hunted down, faced off against, and ended up following Ryuga which did actually impress him. (That and Kenta did chip the core of LDrago in their duel)

Ryuga in the first trial was possessed by the Dark power of L DRago but in the 2nd and 3rd trial ,he wasn't a villian,he was an antihero and that is why he was THE GOAT AND that God of destruction stole all the powers of all the bladers in the world and Ryuga himself gave him a fight

Dude turned Kenta, one of the side characters, into one of the main characters. That should tell you all you need to know about his power.

the thing about Ryuga was the fact he wasnt really a villain or "the bad guy". He was just a rival to the main character who in reality stood above everyone which was his goal

The best part is that his last fight he only lost to a god, because the god of distruction was stealing his power to use against him.

I already liked Ryuga. But he truly got my respect. After fighting Nemesis right before he died. He gives his star fragment to Kenta. Bro had me tearing up.

To your point at the end of the video. Ryuga is practically a second protagonist. A lot of arcs in the show follow Ginga and Ryuga almost circling each other as they eventually meet at the center of some quest. The anime has a lot of flaws but Ryuga is for sure not one of them. He's a genuinely fantastic character.

Here’s a fun fact. L-Drago is the only true left spinning beyblade and what makes it so powerful is the fact the Meteo and Destructor has rubber on its wheel which means any and all right spinning beys basically help it spin faster

The reason L Drago was able to gain speed off the 5 grunts is because it’s the only reverse rotation bey in existence. While all other beys are based off of Pegasus it’s counter part that spins clockwise. Pretty much everytime an L Drago user was close to taking over the world Pegasus came in to save the day. Ryuga is the first person to be able to overcome and master the darkness pretty much making him immune to its corruption.

the fact the god had to use and abuse ryuga's power (cause he stole it) just to eb a god says how powerful tyuga is man even got called out on the fact he was using it more than any of the other powers he had

Funny you should mention "redemption" because Ryuga actually did redeem himself in the seasons after what "Trial A" did. You should react to "The legendary yap session" cause its pretty sick.

A fun fact I don't think you guys know, rago isn't the real God of destruction, he's the Avatar the God of destruction takes to interact with mortals... Is real form is the beyblade of rago uses, Diablo Nemesis the God of destruction

I believe Ryuga literally evaporated after that final fight. He was such an incredible menace that the writers literally had to kill him off in a kids show, because they literally couldn't do anything else to stop him, and didn't have the balls to ruin his legacy.

The irl Meteo L dragon can also steal spin just like in the show because of the rubber bits on the bey when you hand spin it to the left.

The Roberta trial is a hard recommended.

Mans had 2 weaknesses: Plot armor and divine power. Same as King Bradley

Born in 85 my childhood cartoons where david the gnome and animated lord of the ring/hobbit, alf, night court, 80s and 90s tmnt and looney toons, i remember when are you afraid of the dark and Pokémon first aired in elementary school in the 90s. Pogs and AOL dial-up internet trial cds were later elementary and middle school. Hit high-school 2000 graduated 2004. SpongeBob was even more of my brothers age and hes 10 years younger than me so i watched it with him while he was growing up. Ryuga definitely was no joke in Beyblade Metal Masters in the 2nd season of the Beyblade Metal Saga after being defeated by Gingka Hagane and launching his left spin Lightning L Drago transforming into Meteo L Drago and controlling the dark power. He also became more stronger in that series and what’s cool Gingka Hagane Beyblade came back even stronger too, being from Storm Pegasus to Galaxy Pegasus in the 2nd season lmao 😂😭

He actually didn't die, he returned in the season after as a silhouette to who passed on the legacy to that season's dragon blader after the rago fight but in the manga he legit showed up alive

Ryuga's end was a sad one, he was truly the strongest in the world. He was a bad guy in season 1, but for the rest of the series he changed, he was still a badass and far from a nice guy, but he was just a badass living his life. By not watching the show in its entirety ya'll are missing out, it was a good show

He is a menace. Especially for a show made for kids. And not only that theirs beys are really powerful. As you seen in this video that was just a small taste. Can easily get up to planetary if someone wanted to. And he still missed some things. We still missing He almost stole a bladers soul and star fragment, in the beginning of that same scene he broke thru like 3 special movies and starting running the fade with Chris the blader soul he started stealing, that he was able to break thru a special move from a bey that basically created black holes and controlled space and time, he had to teach the main character how to use his new bey and that if gingka lost to the American team he would of came for his ass since they were fake bladers, on his way to fight the god rago he beat like 6 people. Once when he was sleeping and Kenta took out his bey he woke up and was ready showing that even when he’s sleeping he that dude. His score should be higher. So I think he earns his seat. Obviously shows with a non pg rating are going to be better since they don’t have the limits of kids shows but in terms of kids show I think Ryuga earns his seat.
